We went to Churchill Place. The person who was affiliated with the facility spoke very highly of its history, it's family-owned, and how much they care about their patients and everything else. Everybody got the same meal. There were no choices. For example, where my mother-in-law was, my mother-in-law had two options for every meal. Plus they have an ala carte menu, a hot dog, a hamburger. At this place, everybody ate the same thing. The facility has a very small entryway. It was a very nice place where she sat us down in the conference room, but beyond that, it's just halls. The staff just needed to be more welcoming and friendly.

My husband is staying here. It's a great place, it's newer, and it's homey. The people there are lovely, and the staff is lovely, too. Everybody's like a real family, and my husband's very happy there. I know they have exercises in the morning, and on Christmas, they had gift giving.

My father has only been here for a few weeks now. It's beautiful, and it's practically new. Everything is clean and fresh. The staff is very helpful and very knowledgeable about dementia. The room is very spacious, and it's got a separate bathroom with shower, a nice huge window to look outside, and plenty of closet space. They have pet therapy come in. I was impressed at how clean it was, how spacious it was, and how much they knew about dementia.
