The Roosevelt at Salt Creek is my number 1 pick, but I can't get a room with a laundry room in it. You have to go down the hall like you're at a laundromat, and I just can't do that. Nevertheless, I like everything about it. I would see people in the hallway, and they were very friendly. The marketing people were very well-versed, cooperative, and attentive. They don't have a nursing section for later on, and I just want to make one move. They offered a free lunch the day we were there. They also offered to work with me on the rent. They were remodeling at that time, but the units I visited were very clean, and the dining room was lovely and clean. I love the fact that they have an indoor pool. Swimming is important to me, but that's not a deal breaker because I know most places don't have a swimming pool. However, that was an extra advantage from my standpoint.

We visited The Roosevelt at Salt Creek's independent living and as far as I'm concerned, the community had only one drawback and that is that they've just started and will be undergoing some renovation for a while. I was concerned that that could be a disturbance and would make it less attractive and comfortable. You don't know for sure, but that's been my experience with those kinds of things. Other than that, I would give them a high rating in just about everything, including their quarters. I liked their rooms a little bit better than any of the other places we saw. Their staff was quite friendly and knowledgeable. The layout was good and they had outdoor areas too. Their eating arrangement looked good. It looked a little bit more complicated to me than some of the other places, but it still looks like a very nice eating arrangement. The residents also have very good interaction with their staff.

I moved to The Roosevelt at Salt Creek. I chose it because of its location. The rooms are large and completely reconditioned. They have activities, but I haven't been yet. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The food is very good. They keep the facilities clean. For the value, I'm thinking that I am paying a little bit more.

I toured The Roosevelt at Salt Creek. The place was simply gorgeous. The people were very kind. Even the young lady that conducted the interview (her name was Hillary), was very feral and very informative. She gave us a tour upstairs and the place. It just looked like you were at home. Very warm, comforting, and clean. Just very nice. This was the first time my parents had even considered looking at senior living. I had my mother with me at that time, and she was very impressed with what we saw. All the common areas were nice. I have nothing bad to say. It was clean. It smelled good. I didn't smell anything bad. Everything was in order.
