"My mother-in-law is in Sunrise at Fountain Square. It's very clean, it has great food, and there are lot of things for the residents to do. Just the other day, she had mentioned she wanted to go on this bus trip to a veterans home, and she wasn't downstairs when the bus was going to be there, so the lady came up and asked her if she wanted to go on this trip. She has what's considered as a 2-bedroom. She's using just one bedroom and she has a living room. It's very well maintained. The grounds are impeccable. Maintenance is beautiful. They just changed all the carpeting on the third floor, and the guy told me that this was an every couple year project they go through where they redo all the carpeting. The cleanliness is great. Based on what we saw and when we were looking, the value is very good."

"The memory care service is outstanding at Clarendale. The director takes great care of my mother in law, she is always involved in fun activities in memory care, when she was at home all she did was watch TV by herself. I’m so glad to see her thriving, the director sends us pictures of her weekly, as well as updates on what they are doing. The layout of the unit looks and feels like a home which is comforting to us because we had reservation about moving her. We can not wait until the lockdown is over so we can go see her in person and enjoy the patio! I love that they have a Facebook page so we can see all of the memory care daily fun."

"My brother initially lived independently at Generations at Oakton Arms but starting in January 2023 had to transferred to Assisted Living because of health issues. As I prepared his room for his return from rehabilitation, I thought how comfortable and clean it was. I have found the director and wellness director particularly responsive to my brother's needs and my requests. If there are issues, I have been able to contact the nursing staff. I am particularly grateful to Tatiana, the receptionist, who is always friendly and helpful beyond what one might expect."

"Our tour at Lexington Square of Lombard was nice. The gentleman actually contacted me, and he was very helpful. We met and talked about my mom. Then he took me on a tour of the entire place, specifically the assisted living floor. We saw the dining room and the amenities. We toured the whole place, and it was very nice. The facility was very nice, very fancy, very clean, and very welcoming. All the employees were very nice, I really like the place. It is very nice. The location was good because it was close to my house, so that's one of the reasons I chose to go view the place. He took me to a couple of different rooms: a 1-bedroom and a studio. They were very nice rooms. They had extra curricular activities for them and a beauty shop. There was a special room that you can rent if you wanted to have a party and have your family. They have bus trips and various other things for them to keep them busy."

"My aunt is moving here on Wednesday. We picked the facility for the bedroom and chapel, which holds, like, 200 people. This way, she can go to the 9:00 mass every day, and it gives her an activity, as well as all the other stuff that they provide. The facility looks nice, clean, and big."

"I will be moving into Clarendale Six Corners. The building was pretty new. The care seemed pretty good. The staff during the tour was nice. The cleanliness was pretty good. The atmosphere seemed good. The room sizes and layout looked pretty good. They got a rooftop. The courtyard was between two buildings and it had grass."

"I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I could never say enough good things about Brookdale. The employees are the best. The facility is beautiful. There are tons of activities such as games, cards, swimming pool, pool table. The living room is very homey and a wonderful place to come sit. My parents moved there about 7 years ago. Everyone was so nice and treated them so well. They always made sure all their needs were met. When my dad got dementia they went above and beyond in caring for him until he died. My mom is still there and they are so kind to her. With this Covid pandemic they are checking on her several times a day to make sure she has everything she needs. They bring her snacks, puzzles, and other goodies. They visit to make sure she doesn't get lonely. I cannot begin to say how glad we are to have my mom there."

"My mother is moving in. The staff are terrific. Christina is the individual I worked with, and she has been fabulous. We had some unusual circumstances, and she tried to be very, very helpful getting the right answers. I give her a very strong rating. The place is very clean and updated. We were pleased with it. The dining room was closed due to Covid. They have been so accommodating. I would like something closer, but it has what we want for my mom, which includes the pool. It is a little bit farther than where we wanted to go, and it is not a catholic facility."

"When my grandmother died a few years ago, my family decided that it would be best if my grandfather was placed in a assisted living facility. He has trouble getting around because of bad knees, hips, etc.We looked at a few locations around our home in Glenview. The Belmont Village of Glenview was by far the best choice. It was the closest (which helped considerably), and it was a very nice facility both inside and out. The exterior of the building had a very nice manicured look. There were plenty of trees and plants and it made it seem very peaceful. It almost had the look of a nice hotel. The inside was well furnished and comfortable. It seemed like a lot of care had been put into the decorating and this made it have a very relaxing look.The best part for my grandfather was that it was quiet and their was plenty of privacy when he wanted it. The biggest concern for him was that if he moved into a facility like this that he would never have any alone time and people would always be bothering him. Just from the visit alone we knew this would not be the case. It was a good choice for our family and I'm sure it would be for plenty of others as well. "

"The Moorings of Arlington Heights is a wonderful facility from a socializing aspect. I was not happy that they did not have personal laundry, only laundry outside of the unit. "

"It has nice, fairly large apartments. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a lot of outdoor space, a swimming pool, two libraries, a game room, and church services. They also have a bus that takes residents shopping."

"Vi At the Glen is a very nice place, and they have a gazeebo. The staff was very friendly. Some residents talked to me, and they said that I would love being in there. One woman took me to play bridge. They made you feel part of the group. "

"Autumn Green is very nice. For the dependent senior, it is right. The staff was very nice. Everything was very nice. It's just it's not the right fit for my mother. It may, however, be a good fit for my aunt, who needs assisted living. I saw the exercise group, and I saw the fitness center. When I went, I saw them having lunch. I was able to see their community room. I thought it was an excellent location for people who need assisted living. I was impressed with it. It's a pretty nice area. It has its challenges, but I would feel safe in Autumn Green. "
