My father was at Whitehall of Deerfield. Their physical therapy is highly regarded and that's why Whitehall is highly regarded around this area. It has a reputation for good physical therapy. They have one physical therapist who works with a client for a full hour, whereas other places kind of put you with a few people at the same time. It was good in comparison to other places. The building was in good shape. It didn't need a lot of maintenance. It was clean. I enjoyed talking with the staff. We didn't get into the activities much, but the physical therapy stood out. Whitehall is known for being pretty expensive in the area, but also one of the good ones to choose from because of its good reputation for a lot of things.

I came to Whitehall of Deerfield after spending 11 days in the ICU at a nearby hospital. Whitehall was recommended by a few people close to me and I chose this place because of that. I couldn't have made a better decision as this place has gone above and beyond taking care of all my healthcare needs. I have been here for nearly a month and not only have I been healing physically but with Whitehall's assistance mentally as well. This is in no small part to the continuous care that I have been provided. They have house doctors on call, day and night attentive nursing care, plus CNA's covering all my basic needs around the clock. On top of this I see a countless number of therapists: physical, occupational, speech, respiratory, and wound care. Coupled with all this is their full-service kitchen including a dietician maintaining my now healthy eating habits while also providing recommendations for when I return home shortly. From being bed bound and physically unable to walk to now just about ready to walk out the door Whitehall of Deerfield has been a saving grace for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Whitehall in no small part to the extraordinary general and personalized care offered to me. What more can I say but emphatically praise the entire staff at Whitehall of Deerfield and give this place a solid 5 stars. I could not have made a better choice and one that has provided me a solid road to complete recovery and a new outlook and lease on life.

My sister is in Whitehall of Deerfield right now. Everything is on lockdown, but she seems pretty happy there. We really have to watch the food if they serve the same thing over and over, but she seems OK with that. She's happy with the service. They're all kind of isolated right now because of the COVID, so there are no activities. She said that the staff seems pretty conscientious, and she's happy with them as well. It's covered by insurance.
