Senior Suites of Washington Heights

I went and looked at a studio there at Senior Suites Washington Heights. They had things to offer, and my visit was satisfactory. They were nice. They don't serve food. It's just like you're in an apartment and you're on your own. They might come and do housekeeping or whatever, but they don't do meals that I know of. It's very clean. It's a nice place to live. They have parking behind the building. The staff was very helpful. They have a library and a room where everybody gathers. They don't have much workout equipment. I saw an exercise bike and that was about it.

I found the Senior Suites of Washington Heights for my mother, and there's a wait list. I went to look at it yesterday. They have a common room on each floor where they can read books, play music, and play cards. I like that the bedrooms are a pretty nice size, with a living room. I met a resident, she said she liked that the people were friendly. She's about my mother's age. I just like the place. They would paint the room, and get them clean carpeting.

The apartments at Senior Suites of Washington Heights were small for me. Other than that, the staff was very courteous and very nice. There were some people playing cards and some shooting pool. It was very nice, well kept, and very clean. I've seen the laundry facilities on each floor. They had a lounge, a library and a sitting room on each floor. The recreation area and the community room downstairs were nice. Everything was well appointed and nice.

My visit to Senior Suites of Washington Heights was nice. When you go in, you see the office on the left side. On the right side, there's a big recreational room where they can have parties and things like that. The apartments were beautiful and have full-sized kitchens with nice lighting above the cabinets, there's a full-sized bathroom and you can ask for either a bathtub or a shower. There's also a bedroom, and a living room and dining room combined. The air-conditioning and heating are included in your rent. Outside on every floor there's a washer and dryer, and if you're on a hurry you can just go to another floor. They have a recreational room on every floor too where you can play game, watch television or do exercises. And you have the option to drive on your own to appointments.

I'm hoping Dad gets an apartment at Senior Suites of Washington Heights. The residents were in the activity room playing bingo when we were there. The staff member who toured us was very nice, showed us the facility, and explained some of the rules. She took us upstairs and showed us an empty apartment, which was super clean. She explained some of the activities, like field trips and stuff like that. They were very helpful and that lady was awesome. It really impressed and surprised me how nice everybody was. One of the managers was very nice, very personal, and made my dad feel really welcome and good. He left the place saying he's really hoping he could stay in that place.

Senior Suites of Washington Heights was beautiful. You could tell that it's barely been used because it's recently been built and the people in there were beautiful too. I met one of the staff who gave me the tour and all of them were one-bedroom. Everything was nice. You can't get in unless you buzz in. I just like the way they're doing everything for the seniors. They had a library and an exercise room. What got me could've been the community kitchen because I like to cook. The dining area was nice and beautiful too.
