Golden Manor Senior Living of Lawrenceville

My mom has been at Golden Manor Senior Living of Lawrenceville for almost a week now. The number one thing that we were pleased with is the ratio of caregivers to residents. This home has a total of five residents to one caregiver, so there's a lot of personalized care that they give. They can provide that with such a small ratio. My mom has a private bedroom with a private bath, and she's just outside the main living area. There's a communal living and dining area. In terms of cleanliness, it is immaculate. They have someone who comes in twice a week that do a full cleaning. It is spotless. I have not tried their food, but my mom seems to be pleased with it. It's three meals a day with two snacks. The meals are home-cooked. I have seen them and witnessed the meals. They're very balanced and they do accommodate special diets. The food looks and smells wonderful. My mom has not complained about the food. In terms of activities, they have some craft sessions. (It's all ladies, too.) They have a morning exercise show that they watch on YouTube. They'll bring the ladies together to do some small movements and exercises. They try to ensure that the residents are in the main living area. They prefer for them not to be isolated. When family visits or whatnot, you can either choose to be in their room or the local communal area. The other thing about the facility which I've not used is that they have a place if you want to celebrate birthdays, and they're very much promoted that.
