We are so blessed to be able to have my mom at this facility. They go to the Moose Lodge and Bowling. My mom is not mobil at all and yet they are able to take her places with ease which was a huge ordeal for other facilities. The staff is attentive and the food is good too. She gets a lot of attention and we feel she is safe and content.

My Mother was a resident there for several years. I feel like she was treated well! It's not a perfect place, but residents were treated well.

Such a loving caring facility. The owner is phenomenal in her care and dedication to the residents. A true family they cultivate here.

Not impressive. I went to visit my family member, they came to give him his bedtime snack. It was lemonade and a half of a peanut butter sandwich. Attendant was NOT wearing gloves, he had the sandwich in his BARE hand. No napkin. Not very sanitary at all. To know my family member needed extra care, with shower etc. I took a look at his toes while visiting and the toe nails had not been cared for in quiet sometime. Toenails where growing over and to the back side of the toes. I'm grateful they were not diabetic. I have since removed family member from facility. I don't feel they have the best interest of the patient at heart.

This place is terrible. They don't communicate with families when there is an elopement of injury. They don't provide records when requested. Think twice before putting anyone here.

I wouldn't send my dead cat to Somerset. That is how I feel about them, because for like six months, they never sent me a receipt for any of the bills I paid, so I went down there, and they gave them all to me up-to-date. My father was there from 2011 to 2014. They should improve on communication with the family of the patient. I never heard anything for a year and a half from the last I called. The woman who took over the facility is too busy to talk to. I am not happy with them at all.

I visited this facility today and am surprised that they have a license to care for anyone. I even felt sorry for the dog that was living there. The place is in great disrepair inside and out. Six rooms were being renovated while I was on tour and things are just piled everywhere. The worst thing was the staff. The waited almost 15 minutes for the director to meet with me. She was wearing old clothing wearing flip flops and seemed very disoriented. The two staff members who were serving the residents were very rude and unkind ato them. They yelled and them and spoke ill of the residents to one another. I considered leaving but decided to stay to tell the director what I saw and her response was that they had worked there for 7 years and really liked their work. Bad way or showing it. If you have a loved one living here, or know of anyone lookin g for an assisted living placement...do not go to Somerset of Lake Sanders. It is a dump and your loved one will not get the care that a senior deserves..

Somerset was much smaller than the other facility. They only had like four or five parking spaces on the front. Also I didn't think that it offered the services that other facilities provided. The visit was nice though. It was just the facility I did not think could provide all the services that my mom needs. She likes a lot of activities and I didn't think that there would be enough activities for her there. At Somerset, I didn't get a feeling of the real activities like when I visited the other facility. Nevertheless, the staff was nice. It was a good place.

Very caring and attentive to patients. Keep patients busy and always something to do. Very happy with this facility. I am able to visit any time and have lunch with him whenever I want.
