Bayshore Presbyterian Apartments

I was living in Bayshore Presbyterian Apartments in Tampa, a 62-and-over apartment building. The community is lovely, and the building is exceptionally clean. The maintenance is excellent, people are good, and they have a lot of activities. They have a library and games like Bingo and Scrabble. They have movie nights on Saturdays and day trips for those who want to go out for lunch with people. They have Christmas parties and Thanksgiving parties, which are very lovely and very well done. They have a new property manager there who I understand is really on the ball. If you qualify through the city, the place will give you food. It's not the greatest, though. The only thing that I liked was the little piece of roasted chicken they gave us. That was the only meal that I enjoyed there.

We visited Bayshore Presbyterian Apartments. It was warm. It looked like there were a lot of activities for the seniors. We got to check out one of the apartments. It seemed cozy, it wasn't overly big, but there was enough room to live comfortably. They seemed friendly. The staff was very helpful. We've been in contact with the lady in charge of leasing several times, so I would be comfortable living there. These are strictly apartments. They have an area where for the holidays, you could get your family to come in to celebrate with you. Your apartment is not big enough, so there's a kitchen down there and there's an area where you can have family and friends come in and eat. She said they do have a periodical potluck and things like that right there.
