The Landings at Gentry Park

I didn't like Gentry Park Orlando. Everyone there seemed to be doing five jobs. The person who was decorating the dining room was also the water aerobics instructor, who was also the same person who did the activities direction. It seemed understaffed. Also, it's out in the middle of nowhere. I don't know how you can be in Downtown Orlando and nowhere, but you could run away and still not get anywhere. Upkeep and maintenance were fine. It's only two years old and it doesn't look well constructed. The rooms were nice. The ones on the first floor had 12-foot ceilings that were very spacious. The other floors I think had 10-foot ceilings. It was probably the lowest priced of all the ones we've seen. The staff was pleasant. I just felt like they had too many responsibilities. It wasn't to my taste, but it might be to someone else.

The Landings at Gentry Park is a year and a half old, so everything is very up to date. Additionally, which my wife and I want, they have a two bedroom facility apartment with a full kitchen. Everyone comes with wood flooring and a kitchen area. The bedrooms in the living room come with full blinds. It comes with brunch and dinner every day. They have a full staff of medical facilities there. They have medication management. The sales director, Caitlin, was excellent. In fact, it's our third visit there this past week. They do laundry twice a week, but within this one unit we're looking at, they have a washer and dryer.
