We helped our parents move in due to her declining health (due to cancer). Tho we've had problems with our father wanting to leave, Lori, Susie, and staff have been amazing! They have offered suggestions, options, and whatnot. They take their time to speak with us and communicate any issues/good things. I have felt like we've taken up so much of their time, but still they make use feel like we are the most important. After only 1 month, Lori and Susie know our parents as well as we do (maybe even better). They are absolutely amazing. Our biggest concern is our mother and Lori and all have done so much to make sure both parents are comfortable, understand things, they are patient, caring and just incredible with each of them. If I lived in FL I would want to move in myself (should it be necessary).

I liked the amount of residents at The Bridge at Ocala. It wasn't that large, so it seemed like they could handle them a little better. There were like 70 residents there. The facility was nice and clean. It didn't seem like a facility that didn't take care of the cleanliness. The director has been there for 18 years, and a lot of the staff they introduced have been there for over 10 years. So they have a staff that's been there a while, which was very attractive. I think the apartment was small. It could have been a little bigger. They showed us the card area where they play cards. They showed the bingo area on a different floor where they do their bingo. We saw the dining room and it was nice. The lady explained how they do their dining. They have two entrees every day, and then they have breakfast, and then they have an open menu where if you don't want the entree, you go order off of it. It's called "an always available menu". I just didn't see a lot of other areas of it. We were there for about an hour and a half. I didn't see their morning schedule as far as breakfast. So I couldn't tell how that worked. They had activities where they would take people on and we saw the activity board. I just didn't see them at other times during the day. We went there in the afternoon and I didn't see their dinner and breakfast.

My mom is in the process of moving into The Bridge at Ocala. It checked all her boxes for everything she needed. It's in very good condition. The executive director, Lori, was exceptionally helpful. She took her time to answer any of our questions. It was nice that she spent so much time with us to do that and made us feel comfortable with all that they had to offer. All the staff were very friendly. So far everything has been wonderful, but my mom has not moved in yet. But at this point, it's very highly rated for what they've given us so far. They're very cooperative and very responsive. They have a microwave, a small refrigerator, and a small kitchenette area where my mom can bring her coffeemaker, but beyond that, there's no cooking or anything in the room. They provide three meals a day plus some snacks.

Our family member had been in the hospital twice for lengthy stays & rehab twice & he needed additional physical therapy. Just across the drive from The Bridge is the Life Care Center which priovided excellent physical therapy. The Bridge is a smaller assisted living facility. It is well appointed with a warmth of a home. The apts are spacious with a microwave & small refrigerator. Adequate storage with big closet & cabinets. The staff is remarkable!! Very compassionate & attentive & most have been there for years. The food is good with nice choices. Outings & activities are provided there is a wrap around porch with white wicker furniture which the residents take advantage of. We visited 6 facilities in the area before deciding on The Bridge. It is a bit more expensive than most of the others but it is money well spent for the quality of this facility. Our family member tells us repeatedly how happy he is there & it shows.

My father lived at the Bridge at Ocala for over 5 years. The staff there was nothing short of amazing. They cared for him with dignity and respect even when he was sometimes confused and going through very hard times; making him less than pleasant on many occasions. He passed away last week and the head nurse and director were with him as he took his last breath. They treated him like family and I am eternally grateful for them. I live in another state and they were great with communication. I cant say enough good things about the Bridge. I will always be grateful for the staff there

Living so far away kept me from visiting my aunt as often as I would like but with the staff staying in touch with me and the communication was so good it made me very confident that my aunt was getting the best of care. The Bridge staff is tops. Loving and genuinely cares.

The bridge of Ocala is very nice, but they don’t have a lock down facility there. It’s beautiful but expensive and they all are. They didn’t smell like nursing homes. The facility is very clean. I’ve got a couple of friends staying there, and they seem to be happy.

The Bridge appears to be a nice facility. The residents are in varying degrees of disabilities and they seem to be happy. The staff appeared to be very professional and knowledgeable and they were friendly. We did have lunch with them and the food was very good, nicely prepared. We were very much impressed with The Bridge.

Bridge at Ocala is a wonderful and gorgeous facility, but it was super expensive. It had so many people that worked there. It has been one person for every two person. We were really impressed with this facility. If we had been able to afford it, we probably would have chosen this one.

The employees at The Bridge are caregivers who not only reflect the high standards of The Bridge, but also the loving, caring hearts within each of them. They say they become "family" for each of their residents and it's true. They are exceptional!

I want to say how awesome the staff is at The Bridge. The love and care they give to my Mom is like she is their Mom. They communicate with me on every thing that is going on with mom. That means so much as I can't visit every day. I am so thankful that they give from the heart and it shows. I've never seen my mom participate in things like she is doing now. I'm glad I found The Bridge.

My Mother has been living at The Bridge for the past 2 years. I could not ask for better care and love given to my mom. The staff is above outstanding in caring from the heart and understanding my mom's needs. My Mom loves the food and has choices at every meal. She loves all the trips and activities they plan for her and where once she would not have participated she now will not miss any event or activity. The Community is very clean and has a pleasant aroma every time I visit. I could not have found a more fitting home for my Mom and It has made me so peacefui and worry free, knowing my Mom is so well taking care of..

We visited The Bridge at Ocala and it seemed like a place where a senior would want to live. There were a variety of activities in the facility.

This facility sits in a good location. The food here is out of this world, really fantastic. They offer the usual activities for their residents "“ watching movies, puzzles, crafts and others. The staff was really helpful and caring. However, what I didn't like about this place is something inside the room. There's this big, round, painted thing in the middle of the rooms. You can't see through it. I'm not sure but I think it's the air conditioning. It's a little distracting. If they do without this, everything about this place would be great and I will recommend to others.

It's like a 5 star resort. They had a barber shop, beauty shop, a gym, entertainment and menus to choose from for what you want to eat. Mobility, how you can get around. It's like everything is all there packed in one place. It's very nice! They also have an additional building next door and that's for any medical needs. They have physical therapy, doctors, whatever you need is right through on the property. They don't have to go anywhere. Medical needs are very accessible. The staff was very welcoming. They gave me good directions on how to get there. They took me on a tour and invited me to have lunch. They answered all our questions. I really like the ambiance of the facilty. It's like being on a suite in a cruise ship. All the amenities are present and it feels like I am on a grand vacation when I am there! When you walk in the living room it has a fireplace. They had options on the menu and it's like going to a restaurant. The waiter comes to your table and takes your order. It's very high end and although it was pricey, I would absolutely recommend the place.

The Bridge at Ocala assisted living facility looked really well-kept from the outside as we drove up. My friend has been looking for a place for his mother to live and asked me to come along. We especially liked the park-like atmosphere of the grounds. The patio areas also had barbeques where they have hosted and private parties. The main foyer had a lovely receiving area, reminiscent of an upscale hotel or resort. The communal areas all had interesting activities occurring, from reading to games and resident interactions. There was also a salon which would be very convenient for my friend's mother. Events and outings scheduled include anything imaginable - from restaurants, to art museums, the library, which my friend's mother particularly enjoys, to local films and crafts, fine dining and theater. They also host many interesting events and encourage friends and family to attend as often as possible. The food choices looked nutritious and delicious, as well as the regular snacks - offered continually. The dining areas have many options. From more intimate to communal dining, resident can choose whatever they like - in addition to hosing guests in their own spaces. The living suites were all a nice size and did not seem cramped. They were also beautifully decorated. Each unit had individually controlled temperatures. The kitchens all had ample counter space and appliances. In all, this is a lovely facility with caring and attentive staff. All of the residents' needs appear to be met easily and efficiently, in a friendly and caring manner. It was clear that the residents enjoy living here.
