"We went to Brookdale West Boynton Beach in person. The tour was good. We saw everything. The staff seemed very pleasant, very nice, and some of the residents told me it was very nice there. They gave us some cookies when we left, and my mother-in-law said it was very good. The facility was clean, I know that they redid a lot of things, and it looked good. They had an outdoor courtyard. If you visit someone, the only place you're allowed to go was outside, but it was very pleasant. They had indoor courtyards that the residents can use. They were having a movie in the movie room and everyone was apart by 6 feet and they also wear masks inside. They were following the rules, so it was good. They're delivering the food to your room. They're not allowed to have the dining facilities open right now, but they showed them to me. There were three places where they could eat, and they're very pleasant. You decorate the room yourself and you furnish it, so we will furnish it with a little table for her, so she could eat in the room. I talked mostly to the salespeople and I saw the cleaning people, and they were good. You can't do everything right now because they're restricted, but they bring things into the rooms or in their indoor facilities that a person can do on their own. I saw a studio and a 1-bedroom. The studio was very small, but the 1-bedroom was lovely. This is a good fit for my mother-in-law. She will have enough money to be there for quite a while. They have nurses on-staff who are allowed to treat people for things. They have the memory care unit, so they have the license and they have people on-staff, so that's good, too. They're very accommodating with everything that they have, and I'm pretty sure that since they have a special going on right now with the 1-bedrooms, we will probably take that."

"My in-laws are doing very well here. The staff is doing well, too. Like any place, there are some staff members that do well with our parents. My wife's parents like them and the staff likes her, and there are some others that they have no opinion on. My wife's father is in a particular state of dementia where he gets angry and so you really can't judge by what he says. He doesn't really know what he's saying. Their room is very nice. We like the rooms and the layout. The food is good, too. We'd been there a few times to eat with them before COVID, and we enjoyed the food. This is a difficult time and we wish that we could at least see them through the window, and they're not even letting us do that. I think it's time for us to be able to at least see them through the windows."

"I toured Barrington Terrace at Boynton Beach for my aunt. The staff who accommodated me during the tour was really lovely, she was very nice. I didn't have any food, but it looked very good from what I saw in the restaurant. It appeared to be very nicely laid out. I liked the idea that they have an apartment available for my aunt on the first floor, which I liked because she is legally blind. So for her to get on an elevator by herself would be difficult."

"Everything here was very nice. Actually my mother just passed away last week, but she enjoyed herself there. The room was beautiful, and they kept it clean. They did laundry for her once a week. The food there was excellent. I actually ate a couple of times there, and it was very, very good."

"My sister just moved into Argo Senior Living at Haverhill Road last Friday. I am currently in New Mexico and the facility is in Florida. We arranged all these by phone and so on, but she is very happy being there. She said it is a nice facility, and so far it's been fine. She likes their food, and she got a nice room. There is plenty of space, and it has nice windows so she can see outside. They watch movies. They have bingo, crossword puzzles, and all that kind of stuff."

"We chose Grand Villa of Boynton Beach for my father. He liked the atmosphere, they were nice to him, and they were amenable to his needs. The staff is attentive for what his needs are. Everything's on the premises. Everything is in close proximity, so his level of needs is quickly sufficed. There's a salon, a pool, and an open area with a big television where you can socialize. There's transportation to go to the grocery store or doctors' appointments."

"It was very nice. All the people that worked there were very courteous. The room that they showed us that my mom would be staying in was very good. They treated us to lunch there, and their menu was very varied. I think my mom would have probably been alright to stay there if we decided. They showed us two rooms that we had a choice of. One had a door out to the outside and the other one was like an inside room. They were very spacious. The bathroom was large, there was a walk-in shower, they had a small refrigerator and a microwave, and it was all carpeted. They were very nice. As far as the activities, they seemed to have a lot of things for the people to do. We didn't get a chance to see any of them because it was lunchtime, but I could see some people were getting ready to partake in some activities."

"I went to Bella Mar at Royal Palm Beach. I did not dislike anything. I didn't think it was an overwhelming experience, but I thought it was a good experience. The room seems to be accessible. The director who assisted me during the tour was very good. He was friendly enough, and he interacted with his staff. The facility seemed very clean. They have a gym and an outdoor space and offer therapy."

"My parents have been at Tuscan Gardens of Delray Beach since January of this year. They have a host of activities during the day that they can attend if they want to, and it's a full day's worth of schedule. My parents' apartment is very nice, comfortable, and properly suited for their needs. They are happy with the food there. The staff seems to be very engaged, caring, and pleasant."

"Symphony at Delray Beach is very expensive but beautiful. The memory care facility is in a different section, but it's perfect for people with Alzheimer's. It's spotless and very lovely. You have to furnish your room yourself. It's not like a nursing home. They charge by the room, and then they add the nursing care on top of that. So it rates on how much care you need. It's very professional. I highly recommend it. The staff members were wonderful, helpful, kind, generous with their time, and empathetic. They listen and contribute. So it was a very pleasant experience. The facility is big and spacious. They have lovely outdoor spaces. They have a wonderful dining area and a movie theater. It looks very social."

"Moore Care is like heaven here on earth. Everything is fantastic. I love it there and my husband does too. He has dementia so he thinks he works there. He was a security guard before therefore he thinks he's security. He just fits in and loves the people there. I'm so happy to see my husband getting great care. I've seen the food too and watched them eat. It smells so good. They have activities there as well. They have art and play domino and bingo. Matter of fact, he runs the bingo. He thinks he's in charge of it. It's like another world for him and for me. His room is gorgeous. He has a roommate, and they get along perfect. They have a TV in there. My husband has his nice bed, a dresser with all his clothes and stuff in there. It's ALWAYS so neat when I go in there. In addition, Keisha is so caring and loving. She takes all of us like family. She calls me every day to make sure me and my sisters are fine, that I work on time and I get back home. She's been asking about my sisters too. It's difficult for me to be home alone without him but to drive up there and see that he's happy, it makes me happy. I've never seen a place like this. It's absolutely phenomenal. "

"Palms Edge was small and clean, but it was not what we were looking for because it was more assisted living. We were looking for a small apartment. However, the staff was very nice. The residents were more in need of assistance. "
