I was very impressed with my stay there. The rooms were clean, the food was good and the staff was caring except for one or two. PT and OT were caring and helped me get to the point where I could go home. I would recomend this place to anyone.

This place is disgusting. Very dirty. Some of the nurses didn't know how to do my wound care treatment. I ended up in the hospital 3 different times because the place was so dirty. I did like a few nurses there but I definitely would never go back there or recommend it to anyone.

My mother recently had reconstructive foot surgery which went well. With Two days in the hospital that went extremely well, and then we went to recovery ... Apple Rehab, East Haven Ct. It might be a place you want to spend extra time looking out over your loved ones, or look into a different facility. 12 plus hours without medicine, because she wasn't informed she had to ask for it - mind you three days out of surgery. She asked for cream for a nasty rash and didn't receive it till the following evening after having asked multiple times. Some nurses, who were beyond rude could not even put it in the system correctly at which time she took her pain medicine, which in turn put her schedule off again. The facility was so filthy and disgusting that she wouldn't even use the bathroom until it took forever for the maintenance people to clean it. Don't bother talking to the night supervisor or the nurse director because they ignore any concerns you bring to their attention. We finally started to see improvement when we went to the social worker l, Nick and requested to have her come home for family and friends to stay with her and make sure she is well taken care of. Don't get me wrong there is a few great nurses, however they are few and far between.

Apple Rehab in East Haven is a very good facility. The PT department is particularly good compared to other facilities. The PT staff is highly skilled and there is vast array of equipment.
