Carewell At Atherton is in a very nice neighborhood. It's very well maintained on the outside. Although it was very clean also on the inside, there was a lot of furniture all placed in one area, because they were going through some remodeling. It gave me plenty of room to sit down and it all seemed very safe (residents won't get trip over or anything), but it just gave me a different look. The first two people that I talked to were very helpful and very friendly. I was there on time, but the gentleman who was going to give me the tour was late. He arrived 15 minutes later. He gave me the tour and he was very nice, too. All of the residents were in their bedrooms, so he was only able to show me what they had opened. It was a private room, but it did not have an attached bath. It had a shared bathroom with a couple of other residents that my mom would have had to walk across the hall to get to, and that just wasn't going to work.
