"My mother is in Napa Post Acute (Formerly Golden Livingcenter Napa) right now. They are working with her, and they give a lot of attention to her. She's had a lot of people coming in. The doctor, nurse, social worker, occupational therapist, and other therapists, all talked to me and explained to me what they were doing. They had a team come in to check the condition of her skin. The lady at the desk was answering phones and took the time to run into her room and give the phone to her. When I first walked in the facility, it kind of smelled like pee, but the area where my mother is didn't smell like pee."

"Piners Guest Home is amazing. The staff are very caring, and personable. The facility is immaculate. My Mother has been there three years now, and I could not sing their praises enough. They care deeply about the well being and comfort of all the residents and my mother is so happy there "

"Rooms are clean, and decent sized. Staff is always helpful and polite. Residents do have things to do if capable. Bingo,movies , coloring. They do have TV in rooms . There is a cable fee that the resident pays. Which is pretty much the norm for most the places in the area."

"My friend, Virginia, spent several months at the Pittsburg Care Center after she fell and broke her leg. I visited her two or three times a week, and was very impressed with the quality of her care. The facility was always clean and fresh smelling. The staff was pleasant and seemed happy with their jobs. Once when I was there early, the cook came in and asked the new arrivals their preferences--favorite and least favorite foods. When I asked Virginia why, she said that if someone's ""least favorite"" was on the menu, she would substitute one of their ""favorites."" Those are the basics. They also had: cooking, music and craft classes. They had bingo day and ""game day,"" and popcorn and hot dog day. When I talk with Virginia now about it, she actually sounds a little nostalgic. In my opinion, this is what assisted living SHOULD be. "

"I was in the need of a nursing home inbetween my stays at the hospitals. I had the pleasure of staying at Bayberry. Not only did they take care of my medical needs but they handled the emotional needs of a young woman who had lost her mobility. The food was excellent, the therapy I recieved was good and the employees went out of their way to help me with my daily tasks that I found difficult. Although I depended on the nurses so much, some how through their kindness and understanding I kept my dignity. "

"I visited 5 facilities and the one that I wanted the most for my mother was Stonebrook. It was excellent and I would give it a 5-star rating for everything. But I couldn't get her in there. Instead, I opted for a facility that is closer to my home, so it's easier for me to go there everyday. "

"I feel that this is the best center because when my wife first got sick we went to a member of centers and diamond ridge over all was truly the best care possible and if someone has a mother or father I would recommend diamond ridge as a place in my heart I feel that they have an amazing staff however there was one that stood out Carmella has been very instrumental and helping my wife and I feel like family she keeps us very well informed showing knowledge to particular subjects and situations God bless her. my wife enjoy the activities diamond ridge provide. bingo, Jingo and The Price is Right just to name a few and Maryann keeps herself very busy with her wonderful crocheting thank you diamond ridge Yours Truly Eric."

"Windsor Manor Rehabilitation Center is a wonderful spot for my mother. She's been doing very, very well. They let me know if anything is wrong. If there's anything out of order with her at all, I get a phone call. Day or night, it doesn't matter. They're wonderful about doing that. Since we can't visit in-person, they schedule video visits for us. I just had one with my wife a few minutes ago. The staff is excellent. They're caring and they let me know about everything. I've got all their numbers. I must have a half a dozen different people that take care of her for different things that I can call any time. The location is great. It's close into town. It's not far from where I live now, and that's the best thing in the whole world. They have activities, but she's not able to participate in them yet."

"My husband moved into San Miguel Villa. It's an older facility, but they're very conscientious with what they're doing. My husband seemed to like it, they're really nice to him, and he's eating good. They're doing rehab therapy for him. The room is average size, and he has a roommate."

"My mother is in Antioch Convalescent Hospital and she's getting really good care there because both the hospice company that chose this facility for her and the facility itself are monitoring her care. The staff and the rooms are excellent. They have lots of activities like church service, group clubs, Bible study, crafts, and things like that. The best thing about this facility is that their CNAs and LDNs are really accomodating. When you ask a question, they always have an answer. It's an older facility, though. "

"I am currently staying at Broadway Villa Post Acute, a nursing facility. The only thing I like about it is that I'm getting therapy to strengthen my muscles to help me get better. The staff is always on the spot. They cater to everything that we might need. The other thing is that they treat you like you're a person and you're not somebody that they have to help. They're very kind and considerate. The food is very good. They have a variety of stuff, and if you need something else, they run right down and get it for you. It's really good. They keep the building very clean. They do a lot of extra things to keep it clean. Everybody in here, at least twice a day, was dusting or cleaning the floors. They're very, very upbeat with the cleanliness. They have quite a few different activities. I do not go to any of them."

"The cleanliness of Golden Livingcenter is alright. There were a lot of people working there. The staffing is very good. If you can go to some nursing home, you could smell an aroma or something. That one too is not exempt from it. They were adequately staffed. When I went there, it took them a while to respond when my friend called on a nurse to get some assistance. They did go there eventually, and they were very nice. It is a shared room, and the space is alright. "

"My sister has been at Pleasant Hill Post Acute. For a few months following a stroke. The care has been extraordinary! I will start with the reception desk. I live several hours away and when I would call to talk to my sister they were kind and took the time to check to see if we could connect! My sister praised the food and loved bingo:). Everyone who works there new her and greeted her with love and kindness! So thankful she made good progress with Pt so thank you to the team! I only met Shanna as her CN but she answered so many questions with great patience! A big ACCOLADE to Marilyn for your consistent follow through for next steps!!!! You answered our many questions, answered phone calls promptly, and when placement for my sister fell through you worked diligently to provide possibilities and have given resources for us to use in the future!
