My friend was a resident of Windsor Vallejo Care Center. It's pretty basic, nothing fancy. He shared a room with two other people. He didn't like the food. Sometimes when he needed help, he couldn't get it. So, he complained a lot about it. He had a TV and there was a bath close by. He had physical therapy. They seemed to be okay, but I think they may be overworked. They have more people than they can take care of. When my friend would ask for something, it would take a long time to get it. So, they were stretched thin, it seemed. Some of the staff were helpful, and some were not. I think they did have a gym for working out. The facility seemed to be clean enough. The pricing is okay, I know those places can be extremely expensive, but it was reasonable.

The staff was friendly and eager to help. They seemed knowledgeable on the various procedures and tried to help wherever they could.The facilities cleanliness was not up to par. There was a strong odor through out the whole place and the floors were not mopped very often. There is no air conditioning and the room can become quite warm. The food is absolutely terrible. My mother was served old meat sandwiches with cheese slices. My mother has dietary needs that were not met. She is also on a very strict diet and was served several items that were on her do not eat list. The physical therapy center was wonderful and helped my mother greatly in her recovery.
