Ask about parking, is there a parking space for every resident. I was told there is not enough parking for every resident, that I have to park on the street if there are no parking spaces when I get home from work. There is very little street parking. When I asked what I would do if I do not even find street parking, I got no answer, they would not help me. An older lady coming home at night from work, with no place to put my car. Before you sign the lease they will say, oh yes there are assigned car ports available. But after you sign they say you are 15 on the list. Ask them to put it on your lease that you get assigned parking and you are guaranteed parking and see if they will before you sign it and then see what they say. You will then know the truth. BEWARE!!!

We took a tour of Overture San Marcos. I liked the location a lot. We did see the rooms, the model rooms, and they're convenient 'cause they have a little extra storage, so that would be good for us. We're downsizing from three bedrooms to two, so the extra storage was nice, and the walk-in closet. We met a couple of the staffers and they seemed nice and helpful. The staff member walked us around and showed us a swimming pool and the facility. It's a little older property maybe, but it's in very, very nice condition.
