My mother-in-law is at the Copper Ridge Care Center and they're OK. The COVID thing won't let you into the resident's room, so they had to bring her out, which took a while, but it wasn't their fault. That's a little difficult for families but other than that, it's a nice facility, it's clean, and they care about the residents. They have a good network of social workers, the director of physical therapy, and dietitians who work to help with the family member that is there. We haven't seen the food but the dietitian called and said that my mother-in-law was getting things that she liked and that's nice. When you walk in, it's just noisy and confusing, but the information desk is very helpful, they are very helpful with giving us information. They also have a rec room, a dining room, and physical therapy. The place looks nice. It's big and it's easy to get to the parking lot. It's accessible.

The associates that work at the reception desk, Shawn, Miya, and Amor always greet us with a friendly smile and make us feel welcome. This always brightens our day and makes us feel good when we go to visit our mom. They truly make a difference. Thank you for making our day better :-)

My husband just spent 6 months in extended care at Copper Ridge and I cannot express how satisfied I am with the care that he received. The staff is wonderful and caring. This has been a very trying year for everyone, but all the employees are available if you have questions or concerns.

My wife had rehab at Copper Ridge Care Center for two months. I would recommend them, but I would caution them to be very clear about their insurance and what it pays for. There was some confusion about how long my insurance was going to pay for it and that created a little bit of a problem. As far as the facility is concerned, the doctor there is very nice, the staff was nice, and it was clean. The food is like hospital food, but it was OK.

Dad spent two weeks in the care of this excellent rehab facility. You could not ask for a better caring, friendly, hands on staff. Their level of professionalism and their knowledge of each individual patient lets you know they are there because they wish to help your loved ones heal. And, the place is CLEAN. Not just perfumed over, this place is clean and clean smelling. We left this facility knowing the names and smiles of so many caregivers. Even those not directly involved in my father's care knew him. I would highly recommend this facility anytime a rehab is needed. Dad says if he ever has to go back to one, it would be Copper Ridge, Redding CA.

Copper Ridge had a different atmosphere. A lot of people were in wheelchairs or walkers. They had different things for different level of needs. We played music there, and they really enjoyed it. The facility was clean, and the people and staff were nice, but other than that, I don’t really know too much about it.

The reason I like Copper Ridge is because the nurses are knowledgeable, kind, and alert. The certified nurse assistants are helpful, considerate, generous, tireless, and ready to respond to resident calls. The meals are amazing and have great variety, being carefully prepared, attractively plated, with alternates and options readily available. Physical therapy is the greatest thing about this facility. The therapists work very efficiently in getting people back from being unable to function before their latest incident. They challenge you to give your body necessary workouts so that there can be excellent results. They work carefully to provide any tools necessary with your best interests at heart. Occupational therapy has been amazing. They were able to help me go from being quite incapable to now being able to take care of myself, dress myself and even cook for myself. They also worked on areas I needed to build muscles that physical therapy had not covered. Because of my situation, I have really taxed the capabilities of the Social Services Department. My condition is quite difficult so they had to put in a lot of extra effort to try to find ways to accommodate my special needs. They not only tackled the difficult challenges but each member found ways to help me out. The facility layout is unique and offers several places to go to get out of your room. I love sitting by the waterfall during physical therapy and have watched deer, wild turkeys, squirrels, and all sorts of birds come and go. There's even a little Koi fish pond. I was surprised by the various medical services that were provided and as a resident, I even got new glasses during my stay! The hairdresser, Carla, deserves special mention. Her ever-present smile, dynamic attitude, and enthusiastic attention, makes this otherwise quite dull chore a unique and fun experience. Having been a visitor years ago when it was Applewood, I have been quite impressed with the high standards in place today. There are always things to do and this is that home away from home: Copper Ridge!

Copper Ridge seemed like they cared. They were nice when we went in there, but it was like a fake nice. There were two bedrooms, and it was clean. Their walls and everything were painted nicely. The food that was brought in was pretty good, and it looked like it was prepared there. There was a therapist. I would say that it was pretty nice and clean, and the staff was nice.

Copper Ridge is clean, nice, and we're really pleased with the place. All the staff is just wonderful. They treat their patients with a lot of respect and care. My mother-in-law has dementia, so it's hit and miss with her. But I know she does enjoy there. She's in a 2-bedroom. They keep them very nice, with her own TV, a sitting chair, and they even put up a Christmas tree for her. I like the staff. They interact with the residents there really well, and they're always there to make them happy.
