"This facility came highly recommended to me from a friend, at first sight I was a little concerned. However, my mother received excellent care. The staff was very informative and knowledgable during her stay and she is know doing wonderfully at home. This facilty deserves its 5 Star rating and is the only place to send your loved ones. "

"My husband is in Pine View Care Center. They are very kind, they take care of their clients, and they keep the rooms clean. There are enough CNAs in the dining room to feed people that couldn't eat on their own. They would take my husband's meals to his room and dispense the medicine. Everything is done very well. My husband does not care for the food, so I take him his supper every night. The thing I have against the food is that they start rounding up the clients to take to the dining room -- and most of them are in wheelchairs and cannot walk -- at about quarter to 5:00, and sometimes the trays don't come until 5:30 or quarter to 6:00. These people are old and sick, they don't like waiting, and some want to leave on their own. They handle them very gently, but they have a problem in the kitchen. Everybody is very attentive to what concerns you have or needs you have -- the nurses, the CNAs, the administrator, the head nurse. They take care of things, and if they say "We'll be right back," they come back and check, not just leave you hanging. I was impressed with all that. "

"My mother came to California Park Rehab after a fall while living in her senior housing apartment. I asked my daughter, a CNA at the local hospital as well as many others, where my mom should go for short term rehab, and California Park Rehab always was praised. My mom's stay became longterm after it was determined that she couldn't safely move back home. I could not have asked for a more wonderful place for my mom to live. The facility was in a great area, near a lake to take my mom in her wheelchair to visit the ducks, and the building was newer, light and inviting, and had a very nice inner courtyard. Most importantly, her personal care by all the staff was excellent! My family and I came at different times of the day and the staff felt like extended family after awhile. The housekeeping staff kept the building very clean and there was never that smell that other places seem to have. The aides were absolutely the best! Trust me, they truly lovingly cared for my mom. The nursing staff were great. From the therapists, kitchen, activities, hairdresser, housekeeping, to the administrative staff, I was very, very pleased. The administrative staff communicated with me often and I felt they really up to the moment informed on my mom's health situation. Only a few times did I find a staff member less "bedside friendly" so to speak. They hired people who were not only competent, but customer friendly! My mom passed away after living at California Park Rehab a long time. Throughout her stay, her care and the service of the staff was wonderful! My mom was a sweet person, even in ill health, but I watched the staff care for many different personalities and situations, and they always stayed upbeat and positive. The food was good (even I ate there at times). They had singers, musicians, activities and holiday celebrations! My mom thrived in this environment and I can rest knowing she was given the best life in her situation! "

"Twin Oaks was a beautiful care home! As soon as you step through the doors you are greeted by their friendly staff and beautiful, resort-like atmosphere. I toured through the facility with the admissions coordinator (Joey) and was amazed at how happy all of the residents seemed to be. They even had a recreation room with a nintendo wii for the residents to get a little modern exercise! The outside garden area was beautiful and well landscaped. It was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend Twin Oaks to any family looking for the right care facility for their family members. "

"Initially we weren’t enchanted to have our dad placed at Riverside. That was 11/20. Learning to personally communicate with the staff and caregivers has helped measurably to enhance Dave’s care. He’s always clean and content, which is all we can hope for.Caregiving is about the hardest job imaginable. Close communication with a facility and frequency of visits is vital to the wellbeing of a resident. It’s up to family to do Their part. We have come to be so relieved to have Dave at Riverside. He is treated with love and respect while in decline with his Parkinson’s and Dementia. We’re thankful to the entire Riverside staff.. ♥️"
