"The Inn at the Terraces of Chico was very nice. I was there for about half an hour for the tour. It's just way above my mom's means for money; it's very expensive. It's a brand-new building and everything's pretty new. They look like they are staffed well and everything. It looked really nice, and the rooms are nice. My only complaint about the rooms is that the kitchen was too big, and the dining room and living room were too small. When you're in assisted living, you don't need an eight-foot counter with a hot plate and a refrigerator, all you need is a little four-foot counter with a hot plate and a refrigerator. They could have put an extra four feet in the front room. Other than that, it was really a nice place, and had a nice balcony overlooking the lake. It was very pretty but very pricey. Even with four sons, we probably couldn't afford to keep her there. It's not for everybody, you're going to need a lot of money. When you're putting out $100,000 a year to live, that's a lot of money. I saw their theater and the physical therapy exercise area that was very nice and big. It was new, so everything was the newest and latest stuff."
