"We toured Provincial Chico. It was very nice, well laid out, and had many nice features. It looked like a very good place for people who were ready to move and ready for that kind of living. Everybody was very good. I only spoke with Christine, so I don't know much about the rest of the staff, but they all seem to be working very well with the people and everything."

"The tour at The Terraces of Chico was wonderful. I loved it. I loved the people. They were so friendly. Everybody was awesome. But the price of the room, the one that has the kitchen and everything kind of combined was very, very expensive. And I'm looking for something that isn't quite that expensive. That was the main thing, cause I'm alone a lot. But the people came up to me. I thought I would have to seek them out and ask them how they liked it. But instead, many of them came up to me and told me how comfortable and wonderful it is. And I liked all the activities and stuff that I could see, like the puzzles, and all the different things people were doing. I thought the people were just lovely. There was a lot of walking and I'm not good at walking. And the fact that you don't have medical care might be a problem. I'm healthy but I don't know how long that'll last. The unit looks lovely. I had no problem with it because I don't need a bedroom. I sleep in a recliner because my back hurts too much to lie down. So I sleep in a recliner and I can do that in the living room. It would have been perfect for me, but the price is very high. Everything looked really good. I liked the exercise area, and I like working on puzzles, and they're everywhere. I like that. And I like the people. I like people my age, and so it was nice to be around people that were like me."

"I visited. They had a chef on site, which I really liked. They had breakfast at 8:00 a.m., lunch at 12:00 p.m., and dinner maybe at 5:00 p.m. But if somebody slept in late and still wanted breakfast, that would not be a problem. They could have a late breakfast that would be cooked for them. They order off of the menu, and they have other choices if they want. I was really impressed by that, and their facility is topnotch everything. They even had little balconies off of each room. For somebody that's an outdoor person like my sister, it's really important to have seating outside in your own little private area. So, if you have a visitor, you can get out of the room if you want, as well as freedom to walk around and everything. That's really important for people. The room had a full kitchen. The air conditioning and heating are controlled at the room there. They have studios and one-bedrooms. Everything was great. They had the little outdoor section. They had a full beauty salon there, I think it was three days a week, and then by appointment when it was going to be on the weekends. They had laundry there that they do once a week. Housekeeping is once a week. Then, if they needed more housekeeping, that would be an extra charge or more points, the more the price is per month. If you were able to do your own laundry, there was a laundry facility there. It's very nice with folding tables and everything, and there was no charge for doing that. They even provide the soap and everything, which was wonderful. One room I was shown was right next to the laundry facility, but once you walked in the apartment, it was completely soundproof, so that's nice that it wouldn't be a noisy apartment. I have not tried the food, and that's important for somebody living there to like what they're serving, and just serve good, healthy meals. The staff member who took me around was very friendly and very accommodating. She said if I had any questions, not to hesitate to call or come back in. They were above and beyond really, and very friendly. The price is just really high, but then everything is these days."

"The people at Lucian Manor were extremely nice. They showed me the apartments and they explained that there is a long waiting list. The view wouldn't be what I would want, but yet they were the nicest people. "

"Our mother has been here for several years now and recently lost her husband who was also a resident.The entire staff and community at Sycamore Glenn are absolutely amazing. Very well maintained and clean facility with lots of glass looking out onto beautiful courtyards.The food is excellent! Prepared and served by very friendly and caring staff! From the front desk to the maintenance people and everyone in between,this is a top notch, caring facility and I am so thankful that my mother lives there! Thank you staff , one and all!"

"We love Feather Canyon. Everyone, from the administrators to the girls cleaning the rooms, are cheery and friendly. And that is not just for the first day! My parents have lived there for 4 years now, and I can honestly say it is a great place for them. The activities are great, and Nikki, the activities director is so kind and understanding. I can say the same for the managers. The other residents are supportive and cheerful. I could not have chosen a better place for my parents to be. Thank you, Feather Canyon! "
