"We toured Hilltop Estates. It was very nice. My father-in-law looked at a small studio, and he said, "Oh this is plenty." They did all kinds of celebrations for the holidays. They had a game room, a gym, a laundry room, a library, and a big living area. "

"River Commons Senior Living was a very nice facility, but it's a little dated. Overall, it's very clean and well-maintained. The apartments were excellent. The person who toured us was very pleasant, very nice, very accommodating, and very knowledgeable. The menu looked very good. We saw residents playing cards, and they seemed to be very happy."

"My sister is at Hilltop Springs Senior Living. We were thinking about moving her, but she likes being there. She has friends there now. It's all settled in and she is very happy. I like the amenities and the very nice apartments. They also have memory care, so it's going to be a full service. The staff members are very friendly and nice. They could be more skilled, though. The facility is very nice. My sister is very happy with the food. There are two dining rooms. It's a sit-down eating, and so they get served. She enjoys the food, and she enjoys the people. They have many activities. Their activity program is very good. It is expensive, but it's also a new facility, so things are a little bumpy at times."

"I visited Shasta Estates Senior Living in Redding, and I will be moving to their independent living community. It's absolutely gorgeous, and the upkeep is wonderful. There are dogs everywhere, which makes me very happy, because a lot of people there have dogs, and I have a dog as well. I had lunch there, and the food is out of this world. They have choices, and there's a menu. There are the main dishes that they've fixed, and then there are some alternatives if you want to choose something else. The staff was bending over backwards for me. They were wonderful, and the clients seemed extremely happy there. I talked to some of them, and the answers that I got were very positive. It's a much nicer place, and yet it's less expensive. They have trips, outings, and activities in the building. They play bingo, games, and they have cards. I'm really looking forward to moving here."
