We chose Red Bluff Senior Living for mom, because it promotes independence. There's no medical help. It is independent living with three meals a day. They got pull cords, but no medical staff on duty. Kitchenettes are available in a two-room apartment while the studios don't have anything but a small refrigerator in them. They have a couple of patios and a front area that seats about 20. The staff is very friendly, very helpful, and supportive. They have an activity director, so they have daily games such as bingo and bowling, and daily exercises. They're also having Halloween activities out in the front area and having candy for any trick-or-treaters. The only thing is mom's having problems with the quality of food.

I was able to tour Red Bluff Senior Living. We arrived, and we ate lunch with the folks there, and it was great food. My dad ended up knowing some of the folks in there, so that was nice, and he got to visit with them. After that, we took a tour of a few of the rooms that they had available at the time. One was pretty much a single room, then the next room we went to was a bedroom unit with a small kitchen unit attached to that. They were both really nice. If we'd go there, my dad will choose the one with the small kitchen because it gave him just a little bit more room to move around. The people there were so genuinely nice and very informative about anything that you were asking about. I felt like it would have been a good choice for us if we choose to go that way. I had a salad for lunch and there was a little dessert afterward, like cookies. The main part of the meal was kind of a spicy type of food, but it was really good. I wasn't expecting that good food at all. They had lots of games that all the folks could play there. They brought in highschoolers sometimes to either sing or just visit with the folks. They had a really nice outside patio where you could go outside and sit and get some sun. It was pretty basic but that's all that was really needed.

Red Bluff Senior Living was just very open and they made me feel comfortable. As soon as we walked through the door, all the information was laid out in front of us, it was perfect, we hardly had to ask any questions at all. Everything was marked, it was nice and clean, and it's a great environment. The lady who gave the walkthrough was very helpful. She showed us everything, the common area, library, salon, and rooms.

We are satisfied and pleased with Red Bluff Senior Living. The community works well for my mother. Her room is clean, comfortable, and satisfactory. At this point, they get my highest recommendation, because I have no problems or criticisms with anything about their facility. She says the food is OK, it's not the greatest though. They seem to have activities going on too. My mom is involved with that. There are regular activities and programs that they're encouraging all of the residents to get involved with. She seems to be pleased and satisfied with it.

Red Bluff Senior Living is older than ther other places I have toured. The staff who gave the tour was fine. They have activities like doing movies once a week, they had a puzzle room, and they did tours to the casino once a week as well. Their rooms were pretty small, but the dining area was kind of open so it was okay. The place itself was clean.

My mother has moved into Red Bluff. It seems to be pretty good. Everybody is very nice, and they have a lot to offer. The apartment is nice. It is big. It has a bathroom, a shower, and a big closet. My mother got phone and cable TV hooked up. They provide a refrigerator, which is really nice. They have done a really good job. They have quite a few activities too. The staff members are very nice. They look out for the residents. They have an awesome menu. I have eaten there three or four times, and the food is very good.

We've got my mother really settled down here. I've got a good relationship with the people there. She can still go to the store and they will drive her there. They have a wide range of people, some due to temporary disability surgery that need assistance and don't have family. They also have permanent residents there that need minimal amounts of assistance. She is extremely healthy and physically is in great shape. It's a very nice, clean, safe facility, and the staff is real good. It's more like a home setting where they still drive, they can still go places, but they have someone else that takes care of their laundry and their hair. They have a beauty shop. Their food is delicious. The staff is excellent, they're very connected to the people that live there. They give them quite a bit of freedom, but they have regular planned activities like exercise and entertainment-type stuff.
