This place is TOTALLY disgusting ~~ they treat the residents like animals (OH WAIT! There are laws against animals, but I guess not how they treat people).....TIME AFTER TIME having them literally take the food AWAY from a resident and a sack lunch put in their bag because the FACILITY didn't schedule Doctor appointments correctly so once again NO FOOD....When staff tells you something 9 times out of 10 it is a straight out lie....This place should be closed down.....Call to complain to State with evidence and they don't want to hear, so many complaints already....

Do NOT put anyone in here if you care about them — they “forget” to bring meals to diabetic patient, leaves them in urine soaked bed for hours with dried matter not even cleaned off — when admins open their mouth you can know they are lieing to you — had a couple of nurses who appeared to care but they change patients all the time

Initially we weren’t enchanted to have our dad placed at Riverside. That was 11/20. Learning to personally communicate with the staff and caregivers has helped measurably to enhance Dave’s care. He’s always clean and content, which is all we can hope for.Caregiving is about the hardest job imaginable. Close communication with a facility and frequency of visits is vital to the wellbeing of a resident. It’s up to family to do Their part. We have come to be so relieved to have Dave at Riverside. He is treated with love and respect while in decline with his Parkinson’s and Dementia. We’re thankful to the entire Riverside staff.. ♥️

My husband was here. If you love your family member don't send them here. No caring given . From what I saw through the window because they used covid as an excuse for not being allowed inside, it was disgusting.

When I was admitted they took my pills. I never had a meds consult. It's my belief that I was not given all the meds prescribed by my doctor. I was placed in a double room with an incontinent man that had to be checked every 2 hours and babbled nonsense all day long. No Dr. consult ever. People crying, yelling, arguing day and night without a break. I lost 30 lbs so I needed clothes that fit. No help. I finally checked myself out before I did something I would regret.
sad place

My father-in-law is there and we have had problem after problem. There has been 4 New administrators in 6 months and 4/5 new Director of nurses also. I had to fight to get my father-in-law physical therapy occupational therapy and speech therapy. The doctors nor the staff knew what channels to go through in order to get him the help he needed. There's many doctors order for my father to have a humidifier in his room for over a month and still it's not in there. They don't ask patients if they need to go to the bathroom like they're supposed to which is standard care. This is more a place to leave your love ones if you want them to die and not have to worry about it. The staff that does care is not there very long due to them being piled up with more work than they can handle. I am look at other places for my father. But they have labeled him "bad" due to refusals and when asked they called me to let me know they threw the biggest fit.

I had my father put there to recover from having Pneumonia after he was treated at Enloe. He was put in a room with no heat next to a sliding glass Door. He was supposed to get Physical therapy to help his mobility but he only received one treatment where he rode a bicycle for proximately 9 miles instead of exercises to help him walk. If it wasn't for the recent flooding I would NEVER have put in this place! This is a place you go to die, not to for rehab! The head nurse was very hostile once she found out what religion we are! Plus my father was suppose to receive pain meds 5 times a day but they only gave it to him twice a day! As soon as the flooding allowed me to get back to Chico and I heard and saw this, I immediately removed him from this facility! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!
