Mom has been here for a couple of weeks now. We fell in love with this place. The experience has been wonderful. The people are super accommodating and nice. Mom raves about the amazing food every day. Their cleaning abilities are not up to our standards, but it is what it is and Mom loves it there. She has a big lakefront window, so she's quite pleased. Her room is huge, bright, and airy. She has her own bathroom and a microwave. The dining area looks lovely. It looks like an actual restaurant with little menus. The residents have a choice if they don't want what's in the meal plan. They've got many different varieties of other food that they can choose from. It's very clean and has a very inviting atmosphere. They've got people that come in and sing, they had Oktoberfest about a week ago, and they've got something going on daily.

I toured. I'm highly allergic to smoke. I asked if there was a smoke-free area and there was not. I mean, there's a place for smokers, but not for people that don't smoke. That alone would stop me from going any place if they don't have a smoke-free place, I'm not going. The lady was very nice. The people were clean and everybody was helpful. I thought the rec area was kind of small. The place was very nice. It just does not fit me. The staff was courteous. They were helpful. They were informative.

It was a very, very active community. There are a lot of activities going on all the time. The rooms were very clean. The biggest size looked comfortable and nicely furnished. They have manicures for the residents, arts and crafts, religious services, and cooking classes. They also have a game room and a big lounge where a lot of people just hang out, play games, and talk. It seems like a much livelier place.

We toured. The tour was good, but I didn't feel the activities were going to be enough. I felt like the memory care community was kind of tucked back in the corner and not really acknowledged. The facilities were very nice, but I didn't really see any of the amenities. The assisted living was much nicer than the memory care unit.

I've been living in the assisted living for over a year now. We just looked at all of them, my daughter helped me, and the two of us just thought this looked like the best. I'm in a small studio apartment and it's comfortable. The staff is very good, they have good med techs, caregivers, and housekeeping people. Everything seems very good because we have good maintenance people that take care of everybody. The food is okay. It' s done by a person who's also done the menu depending on what seniors should be having.

My mom is now here. She is there for assisted living. She's not complaining about it at all. It's a really good facility. The people are very helpful because she needs added care and not just sitting in her room. She's kind of incontinent. She tells everybody she loves it. We're really happy with everything. My mom has a studio. They have variety; we got the middle size for her, but it is really big. She has her own private bathroom, and she has a little microwave, refrigerator, and sink in there. We brought a lot of stuff over there, and it all fit. Even after we first moved in, she wanted other things. We brought those, so it's a very nice room. They have singing downstairs. They have a piano in there, and people come in and sing. They play bingo. They have a full calendar of different kinds of events. They have meetings, where the people staying there can say what they dislike or like about it; that was good. There's a couple in there that's been there for 17 years, and they're happy. My mom loves the food. The food is number one to her.

My brother is here. They take really good care of him. They're conscientious of his diabetes and that he's a fall risk. I think they're doing a really good job, and he likes it there. I haven't had a whole lot of interaction with the staff because of the virus, but I've spoken with them on the phone, and they're all very conscientious and they love his cat, so he's happy. I don't think there is anything to complain about. I haven't really been inside because of the virus. It was on lockdown when he moved in, and I didn't go in. I've never seen his room, but the outside looked great. He doesn't have any complaints. I'm satisfied.

It was OK. The rooms were all nice. They all had their own bathrooms whether they were shared or single. The rooms were great. There was a nice yard outside, too. The staff members were nice. However, I didn't appreciate the memory care place and the residents not being able to go to the dining room with everybody else. You're paying all that money but my mom got to eat in this other large room where patients were in their bed moaning and talking to themselves. It wasn't a happy place.

It was a lovely place. If I needed help, that's where I think I would stay. I thought it was beautiful. The day I went there, they had their residents out and doing simple chair exercises. They were leading them through exercises and I thought that they were very patient and very pleasant. I thought this would be a good place.
