I visited Bella Vista and I don't have too much good to say about the facility, but the beds are not bad. It's like a spring with a mattress on it. The residents can roam free. I noticed they have things posted, but I really never saw the residents do anything. The people were nice. The place is very confined and I don't really recommend the place. They need to feed the people better.

We happened to be in the Pasadena region and decided to stop in to see Bella Vista assisted living facility while searching for a place for an acquaintance to live in the area. The outside looked clean and well maintained, much like a really nice condo facility might. The interior was fresh and bright and seemed easy to navigate. Space is usually at a premium on the west coast, so we were pleasantly surprised to see the many communal areas that were all nicely decorated and pleasant to be in. All of the residents are encouraged to enjoy physical activity as much as possible. They also offer yoga and aerobics classes, sometimes held outdoors. Because of the mild weather, residents can enjoy the outdoors on a regular basis. Dining rooms offered restaurant style meals that looked and smelled delicious. The menus included food options for all kinds of diets. Healthy snacks are also available whenever residents desire them. Pasadena offers many cultural events in its beautiful surroundings. The staff appeared to accommodate all levels of ambulation. The residents go on many outings into Pasadena's vibrant social community to enjoy all that it has to offer. Private apartments were all freshly and nicely decorated, with plenty of natural light and fresh air. This facility offered a variety of options, from assisted to independent living and looked like a very nice community, overall. The staff seemed to like their jobs and the residents received the level of care they needed.
