Clarissa's Home Care promotes the individuality of each resident through self-actualization, outstanding activities and various support programs. Residents are also encouraged to express their individuality through control of their own environment and deciding which activities they wish to participate in.

Such activity programs include, but not limited to:

• Daily exercise and walks to maintain good physical health and mobility.
• Table games to help retain hand-to-eye coordination, fine motor skills and cognitive functioning.
• Arts and crafts where projects are individually suited to create a sense of accomplishment.
• Satellite tv/video programs, music, dvds, books on tape, bingo games, puzzles, current events discussions and other forms of entertainment.
• Afternoon tea parties, coffee/tea chats, ice cream socials and birthday or holiday parties where families are always welcome to participate.

Our very caring and fully trained staff takes pride in providing a very personal level of care customized to the resident's individual needs and special assistance such as:

• Supervision on medications
• Transportation to and from medical or dental appointments
• Assistance with bathing, incontinence care, dressing and personal hygiene
• Documentation of each resident's daily activities and progress
• Assessing, monitoring and satisfying each resident's physical and emotional needs
• Preparation of nutritious and well-balanced meals and snacks to ensure intake of substantial amounts of nourishment
• Laundry, linens and housekeeping services are provided
