"Corona RCFE was very nice, and the people were very friendly. The grounds were good. The room is perfect for my mother who is 92. She just needs a room with a little bed, a chair, and a TV. That's all she needs. It looks like she can go out and go to the dining room area, and things like that, and they have those things available too. The staff who helped me was very friendly and answered all the questions. She was very good. I didn't sample the food, but the dining area was fine. For activities, they have a little room where people can go and they can meet with each other and play games and so on, so that's fine."

"Everything seemed perfect for my father. It?s clean and has a nice environment. The staff is nice and cooperative. The rooms are spacious and clean with a nice carpet and the bathrooms are remodeled. They discuss various activities during the week and they have a monthly schedule on the wall so everybody may be aware of it. "

"My mother has been in for about a year. They just redid the whole community and made it very beautiful with an Italian theme. The staff is very nice. My mother is in a transitional unit for dementia, and they really take care of her very well. They provide good service to take care of their people, and the staff is very caring."

"We're going to Estancia Del Sol. I like it very much. The staff has been very nice. The place is fairly new and a very beautiful place. The vestibule is large, and the dining room is open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. The 2-bedroom was very nice and they have a washer and dryer right there in the apartment."

"Oakmont of Chino Hills was a good assisted living. I liked the location and the services that they offered. The place was clean. The staff was very good. They were very helpful and very knowledgeable. The food that I had was OK. I think they were remodeling all the time. It was very modern and very luxurious looking. They had a nice dining area, a beautiful salon, and a beautiful gym. They had a lot of areas for events, like a multipurpose hall and multipurpose rooms to gather. They also had a mini movie theater. I just think they needed more public restrooms on the first floor."

"Rooms are a variety of single, double, and/or triple occupancy. Staff is attentive, very cordial and truly enjoys assisting and attending to those living at La Hacienda, unlike larger facilities who employ anyone who wants a job, but doesn't necessarily have to have experience or enjoy providing health care. Meals are catered to individuals wants/needs. "

"We visited briefly with my cousin who passed away a couple of years ago. Although her stay at Emeritus was brief, I was very impressed with the staff and the level of care. She didn't stay there for a long period of time, so I can't say how it would be for a long-term stay. The rooms were very clean. They're spacious and nicely decorated. I can't say I'm an authority on it. I just know that when we admitted her and she got checked into the room, they were very professional. They had qualified nurses who were taking care of her. "

"Citrus Place was nice. It was bright and cheerful. The staff stood up for me more than anything else. They were excellent ad very friendly. The rooms were also very nice and very bright. I liked that there was lots of sunlight. They have a little hair salon (which my friend was very impressed with), laundry facilities, and a pool. They have everything. The only downfall was the parking. It was tight."

"I visited Raincross at Riverside. The staff was very friendly. What we saw was great. It wasn't dirty, nobody was mean, and the people who were there looked comfortable. The lady that we talked to was very nice. We were able to check the rooms and the main dining area. They can improve on some of the amenities; some were not the best."

"I am a retired hospice registered nurse. My aunt was a resident at Cathy's Cottage for @9 months. I tried to visit weekly. I would show up unannounced at varied times and days. Each time I found my aunt to be clean, hair combed and with a dry adult diaper. Pain was a chronic issue yet while at Cathy's she denied pain. The staff was always courteous and happy to see my mother (the resident's sister) and me. We were given comfortable chairs and we would be offered a beverage. During Covid, Julie followed the State guidelines and tested visitors appropriately. My aunt died comfortably in a warm environment with caring caregivers."

"My dad is in the memory care of Aqua Ridge of Montclair. We actually toured the facility before he moved in. The staff has been really friendly. They were really accommodating to answer all the questions that we had when we were there. Because it's a newer facility, they look nice, but it looks empty. Everything's clean and well-kept. It's just that because it's a newer facility, I don't see a lot of resident interaction. It's a very nice facility though and the grounds are nice. My impression when I first walked in, was that it kind of reminded me of a nice hotel. I have not tried the food there, and my dad is on a puree diet, but the things that I've seen smelled delicious. When we toured the facility, we were in the memory care, and they were playing a game with the residents where they have a ball and swimming pool noodles, and it looked like they were having so much fun. I know they also did something for the Super Bowl, and I know they're going to be doing something for Mardi Gras, so I see that there are constant activities going on. I know that for Valentine's Day they had asked for a picture to be sent to them and framed them. They've been doing a lot of good activities."

"My mother has been in Cadence at Rancho Cucamonga for two weeks now. She is very happy, and we're happy that she's happy. They're very friendly like we have known everyone there for years. They're very warm reception. I can't say anything bad about it at all. It's just amazingly comfortable. They're so warm to you. Everything is just the best you can have. The food is so good. For activities, they have games, they play music, they dance, and they even play ball outside. They have a gym, too. Everyone is joining activities at the same time and it's so odd to see something like that. They get everyone involved. My mother didn't want to go, and once she was there, she was so happy now."
