The house is really great, very spacious and clean. The wooden floor is awesome, my grandma was in the facility, she really likes the house, the clean room and the caregivers. They cook really good food with variety of nutrition. They always help her daily needs, such as shower, toileting, comb her hair, tidy her room, etc. She really enjoy the life there with accompanying. She enjoys sitting in the backyard patio to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of juice; She enjoys watching the sunset by sitting on her walker for half an hour; She enjoys having a small walk in the nice backyard. I really appreciate the care and the lifestyle provided by Gracious Care #2 Home. Wish them all the best.

Gracious Care #2 was a nice location. I just didn't think my mom would have been a good fit there. A lot of people didn't speak a lot. They were older and the person who took care of the house was primarily a Spanish speaker and my mom speaks English. That's the only spot that we found that would help with her insulin. The house and everything looked good. The rooms looked clean. The shower looked clean. Everything looked clean. They said they shower them every other day. It was at the top tier of my price range. The dining area looked good. We walked through all the rooms. The gentleman seemed very nice. However, I was talking to a lady on FaceTime and she was relaying everything because the gentleman didn't speak any English. We were going through every room and she would say this room costs this much or whatever. This is the dining room, this is the bathroom, this is another bathroom, this is the backyard, this is the kitchen, we make three meals a day for them. She had a lot of information on how they eat and how they run their facility. She was very informative. I guess the owner speaks English, but the guy who overlooks and takes care of the patients is primarily a Spanish speaker.

Gracious Care #2 is not a facility. It's somebody's house that they turned into assisted living. The only thing I could say is for an elderly person, the level of care is needed in an actual facility. The three ladies that were there had dementia. The gentleman, I don't know if he was a nurse or not because I didn't see any credentials, says that he watches over them, that he stays there and he checks on them periodically here and there. I took his word for it, but I just feel that a person's house should not be put out there for assisted living. That's my take on it. The gentleman was pretty thorough about what he does there. It was pretty much a timeline. Like, they would get the residents up at 7 a.m., give them breakfast, and then put them to sleep by 9 or 10 at night. I can guarantee that maybe if my mom had been there, she would not do that because she does not go to sleep or wake up at those times. I understand some facilities keep a time of when they're going to sleep or not, but he was very rigorous on his timeline and all that stuff. Overall, he was very thorough in what his role was there though.

I felt very comfortable at Gracious Care #2. Ricardo took his time. No rushing and he explained everything. There was so much information that I received from him. It's a two-story home that was made into a senior place. The rooms were set up very nicely. My mom felt comfortable touring there. There weren't any outings though or things of that nature, and so mom would feel a little more confined in that type of setting. They don't have any type of activities or the staffing to be able to take her out. That was kind of a drawback for us. Other than that, they had a very nice set up there at the home. Ricardo was very gracious to us, very helpful, and very patient. We toured everything in the memory care. They had a very nice backyard where there's a patio that Mom could come out and sit out on. She really liked that because they had bird feeders and all of those types of things. The dining area was set up pretty nicely too.

I checked out the memory care at Gracious Care #2 and it was very quiet, very clean, and very well-kept. I went there twice. They had food cooking and everything seemed to be in order. The staff was very friendly, very accommodating, and answered all my questions. All the rooms were clean (including the bathrooms) and all the beds were made. There was a walk-in shower which would be helpful for older people with mobility issues. They have a big backyard with two patios for them to have outdoor activities or get outside. I'm very pleased with what I saw.

Gracious Care #2 was a perfectly clean house. It's a beautiful new home, the room even has a fireplace in it. It's actually $4,000 for a dual and $5,000 for a single, which is out of our price range. The place was immaculate. It was a great community, all brand new homes around it. In fact, the whole area is new. The house itself is really clean and pretty. It would have been perfect if it weren't for the price. Their staff member was good, he was very nice. It was nice that it was a male that was there because my father-in-law is a big guy.

My mother is a resident of Starlite Manor. Everything is fine there as far as I know, it's just a small place. The staff gets the residents up, they shower them, feed them, and they also have TV and arts and crafts available. They also take them out sometimes. The place is very clean and the art is very nice. It's really like living in a house. I like that it's in a residential area, and not in an industrial place or a hospital.
