"My aunt is taking a while to settle into Brookdale North Euclid, but I'm very happy with the place. They’ve done everything that they can to make her happy. The people are helpful and seem to care so much about getting my aunt settled. The most important thing for her is that she was allowed to bring her cat. It just seems comfortable and home-like and did not seem just like a big apartment complex. They have their meals, a group that walks every morning with the recreation person, there/s bingo, cards, and ice cream socials. They have a little craft class. Every day it's something a little bit different. They offer three meals a day plus snacks. They have a little coffee bar area with granola bars sitting out. If they want something specific from the kitchen area, one of the attendants will get it, so they're very accommodating. They've gone out of their way to help her."

"Our tour experience was excellent -- even stellar. They have everything; they have full assisted living. They have a caring, constant staff, better food than I've seen in any other place, and a better environment. It's clean, it's new, and everything's fresh and bright."

"I felt very comfortable at Gracious Care #2. Ricardo took his time. No rushing and he explained everything. There was so much information that I received from him. It's a two-story home that was made into a senior place. The rooms were set up very nicely. My mom felt comfortable touring there. There weren't any outings though or things of that nature, and so mom would feel a little more confined in that type of setting. They don't have any type of activities or the staffing to be able to take her out. That was kind of a drawback for us. Other than that, they had a very nice set up there at the home. Ricardo was very gracious to us, very helpful, and very patient. We toured everything in the memory care. They had a very nice backyard where there's a patio that Mom could come out and sit out on. She really liked that because they had bird feeders and all of those types of things. The dining area was set up pretty nicely too."

"Claremont Manor provides meals, and you have your own room. The grounds are clean, and it looks like a nice place. The rooms are just studios and clean. The dining area is big enough. Everything is immaculate. I would recommend it. "

"I took a tour of Ivy Park at Claremont because that one is close. It's very nice, very clean and very welcoming. I only saw the entrance, the dining room, and the living area, and they were all very nice. The staff who gave the tour was really nice and very informative."

"I found Atria for my ex-mother-in-law. I visited several times, and the people appeared to be very happy. They have individual apartments. They have a fabulous chef. I ate there twice and found the food to be delicious. You can order beer and wine, and you order off a menu, so they don't just feed you some pre-ordered food. They treat you with dignity; you have a choice. They have housekeeping, a hair salon, and lots of activities. They encourage mingling and socializing, and they take you places. It seemed like a place I would want to live. The staff was very knowledgeable and kind. They stopped to say hello. A gentleman there was very caring. He actually came and picked up my mother in a limo. He brought her down and paid to have her hair cut. He arranged for the hairstylist to stay over a little bit later so that he could take care of her and pamper her. The hairstylist did make the ladies feel pretty and appreciated. It was a very nice atmosphere. The apartments overlook either a grassy area or the inner court where they have functions. I think it is a fabulous place. I would move there in a minute. "

"We toured A Silver Amore Senior Home. What I liked best was that it was very spacious. It was a relatively modern home. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the residents seemed happy. I liked that it was all female, so my mother would be comfortable with just all women about the same age. They had two rooms that were private rooms and the others were shared rooms. But even in the shared rooms, they had a nice partition, like a hospital, and the partition was up from the ceiling, so you would have your privacy there. And everybody seemed to be happy there, so that's what we liked. I only saw the woman who ran it, a registered nurse, and that was a plus, and then there was another woman there doing the cooking. The structure was very well maintained. The layout was very nice. It was like one grand room; the kitchen, the dining area, the den, and the family room were all in one space. It was very nice, so it would be easy to move back and forth, and a separate room where families could visit more individually. If they came to visit, they could sit on the couch, and there was a little dining table there, too. You can have food or something like that. So, that part was very nice, too."

"Ivy Park at Alta Loma had lots of activities to keep the seniors active. My mom went on the tours with me and she felt really comfortable there. I like that they have lots of staff that interact with the seniors. They stated that they have weekly mini outings that she would really love. They will take them on many field trips or to the Dollar Tree to go shopping. They take them to museums and local areas. Everyone received us very well, up to the point that my mom will be staying at their facility in their memory care. The coordinator emails me when they have other events there that we can go to just to get my mom more familiar with everyone there. We've been invited to two different outings since then and she's stated that she will continuously contact me for any outings that they have there that we can go to. I really enjoyed that. She was wonderful. She's very thorough and very friendly. She made my mom feel really, really comfortable. The apartments were very nice. We loved the setup. There's two different setups, and we loved the way everything was arranged. I also liked that the rooms come unfurnished, but they can provide you with furniture to rent. It's an additional cost, but it's very reasonable. The maintenance was wonderful. Everything was very clean and always well organized, in my opinion. The different rooms that the individuals are able to go through and partake in activities were set up very well. The dining area looks very good. I liked the way it was set up, and it looked very comfortable. My mom wanted to actually sit down and have a meal there when we were going through at that particular point. She was very enthused with the dining and how it was set up, like the tables and napkins. The coordinator took her time with us. She never rushed us or anything. She took all the time. She felt we needed it, and I felt more comfortable like that. I wasn't rushed or anything."

"My dad is living in Genesis Manor VI. It's a very clean and a beautiful house, and the people are very well-mannered. The dining area is great. It’s a little less expensive than where my dad used to stay."

"Cadence at Rancho Cucamonga was a very close second place to the facility we chose. It's a newer facility, but very well kept and appeared to be very nice. We visited Cadence a couple of times and the first time we were there, I was not pleased with the COVID restrictions I received there. The fear that I've had is putting my loved ones in a facility that decides to just run blindfolded into something they don't understand and prevent me from seeing my loved ones. I think that will be getting better, but that was something that we weighed on when we made our overall decision. The rooms were a little tighter than we would have preferred for two people, but they were very nice. The facility itself was very nice as well. The food was very good. We dealt with Terrie, and I was very impressed with her. She was extremely nice, answered all of our questions, and did a phenomenal job. She was great. Their activities and outdoor area were very good. They did not have the swimming pool, but they had everything else that we were interested in. They had a very nice theater room where they could gather and watch movies and things like that. The craft area was nice. They had a schedule laid out with all the activities and things well in advance so they could make plans to be there. We were impressed with Cadence, the staff, the facility, and the food. I think they had the best food we were able to try in any of the facilities we went to."

"I would give Oakmont a five because it's very new, extremely clean, and very nice. I like everything about it. I like the layout and rooms. Their facilities were the best among the ones that I have visited. I did not meet everybody, but the staff members that I met were very professional and very nice."
