All entrances and exits are equipped with an alarm system connected to a central monitor. On top of that, each resident is given a PERSONAL CALL BUTTON/System and staff's close monitoring.

Although we do not offer transportation services, our team of Social Workers are ready to assist in arranging transportation/ride for our residents.

Our home offers Music Therapy, Karaoke and Movie Nights, Board & Group Games, Gardening, Faith-enrichment Activities, Social Activities with volunteers, families and friends, and Pet Therapy.

Our home is 5 to 10 minutes away from Community Parks and Shopping complexes. Our neighborhood is relatively safe for morning and afternoon walks. You will see lots of joggers, both young and senior, doing their morning or afternoon exercise.

Accepted Answer

All of our staff were trained professionally to accommodate special diets such as Vegetarian, Renal, Mechanical, and Pureed. We also adhere to a strict policy of serving GOOD QUALITY FRESH FOODS ONLY and not to cut costs when it comes to our residents' food.

Administrator and Owner contact Resident's family via phone and email right away as the need arises. We keep our social media accounts (Facebook & Instagram) updated and we post notices on them and on our website. We also arrange a Care Conference with the family twice a year and/or when there is a Change of Condition with the residents.

We have a Living Room/Common Area, Activity Area with a wide array of activities to choose from, a front courtyard, and an outdoor patio at the back as well.

Accepted Answer

We perform a Safety and Compatibility Evaluation before we accept pets. Once approved (with additional charges) residents with pets has our Front Porch and Rear Outdoor Patio available for them to enjoy.

Our staff are trained by Registered Nurses and Social Workers on a Skilled-Nursing level before they are allowed to provide care to our residents and we train them as long and as often as required by the governing governmental bureaus.

Accepted Answer

Prior to admission, we request documents from the facilities the residents was previously at. As for their health, we require a signed Physician's Report (LIC 602) and their social workers' assessments and their cognitive functioning assessment performed by a licensed psychologist. Administrator, Licensee conduct the pre-admission face to face cognitive function assessment (conducted by social workers and licensed nurses). On-going cognitive skills monitoring for any decline.

60+ years old. The residents' favorite things to do during their wake hours varies. Thus, our home patterns our activities depending on our residents' preferences.

Taco Tuesday, Asian Night, etc.) and we also adhere to a strict policy of serving FRESH FOODS ONLY and not to cut costs when it comes to our residents' nutrition.

Two professionally-trained staff are on duty in the daytime, one wake staff at night. Administrator and Licensee lives on-site for 24/7 support as the need arises.

We collaborate only with trusted Home Health and Hospice agencies who have exemplary record and as what the resident's or their responsible parties preferred.

Using our experience and professional training, our goal is to keep our residents with memory problems engaged or "busy" at all times. To achieve this, we have planned activities specially-designed for residents with dementia and/or memory issues. We partner with Alzheimer's Association for additional support and resources.

We offer just one food at a time instead of filling the plate or table with too many options. We are patient and give the resident enough time to finish the meal. We cut  the food into small pieces and make it soft enough to eat, which will help with chewing, swallowing, and digesting. We provide encouragement and reward accomplishments.
