Assisted Living Communities in Pawtucket, RI

"My cousin just signed for an apartment at Anchor Bay at Pocasset in Rhode Island, so he'll be moving there. We are also familiar with the place because my mom was there for a while. What I really like is that there's a lot of open areas and walking trails on the property. The people are all extremely friendly and helpful. There's been a new owner since my mother was there, so they've done a lot of renovating and refurbishing, and it's very pleasant. Denise was excellent, she was very patient, and kind. She's been really great. We haven't had any meals there but they have a very attractive dining area. For activities, I know they usually do little trips to the parks and they still have other things that they do. They have a pool table and there's a game room. They also have laundry on every floor."

"My dad moved to Brookdale Attleboro almost 2 years ago. At first he did not want to come here, now he calls this his home. My dad has made so many friends and participates in several activities. Donna at the front desk is amazing. She is always happy to see me and treats my dad as if he was her father. Meg N runs this weekly challenge that my father talks about all week and he loves the happy hours. I could not be happier with the service and the care my dad receives at Brookdale. "

"The Branches of North Attleboro was very clean, and the staff seemed to really care about the residents. I was impressed with my tour. I think they're probably the best memory place I've seen. The staff are very friendly and caring. The facility is very clean and well kept. It's also close to a conservation area. They had a salon, a garden, and a little coffee area like a bistro bar."

"I went to Smithfield Woods. A lot of what I had seen in the facility had all been renovated. The rooms had all been renovated, it was super clean, it was in a residential neighborhood, so it was quiet. Everything looked very clean. The person I met who gave me the tour was very nice and very informative."

"I toured Atria Bay Spring Village. The place was very easy to find because I'd never been in that area of Rhode Island before. The facility itself was better than I expected. It was very clean and very organized. The people were very friendly towards the residents from what I saw. During the tour, they showed me the facilities that they offered, and it was almost like a very nice hotel. What I saw was like in a hotel room. I saw some plans that they had like a single bedroom and a two-bedroom apartment-style, but I did not see those. The person that showed me around, gave me all the information I could want, and gave me some handouts and some fliers as well as a full tour. The staff was exceptionally helpful and answered every question I could think of. They were very, very nice, and the facility was nice. They gave me dessert, I gave that to my mom, and she enjoyed it very much."

"My mom was in Assisted Living and then in the Memory Care Unit of Greenwich Farms at Warwick. The staff was always friendly and caring and assisted her with her many needs. The facility is top-notch and had a variety of activities for all levels of care, as well as independent living. We were very pleased with all facets of care and living at Greenwich Farms. "

"I toured Tamarisk with a group, and we ate at a private dining room, and it was pleasant. They have good activities: movies, television, recreation, and trips. The staff was very pleasant towards the visitors and, I assume, towards the residents. They have a porch in the rooms so you have a little private outdoor space. The dining area is a very pleasant, nice, big, bright room. It’s got more buildings I think than some of the others, and about 80 residents there, but the location is close to my Synagogue "

"The rooms are pretty roomy and sufficient. The ones that were furnished were pretty nice. All in all it's pretty good, and we are considering placing my mom in that facility. They have plenty of activities, and they a offer lot amenities for the people that live there. "

"All American Assisted Living at Wrentham is our choice because of its price, and it's very clean, too. The staff was very good. She was excellent. She did a very good job. The room is like a suite with a small living room, a small kitchen, and a little dining area. It's like a studio with everything you need. The dining area was very nice, very clean and very organized. There is no smell. In terms of activities, the residents had a ball game during my tour. I think they have everything that my father needs."

"All American Assisted Living at Warwick was close to where we are. My father moved into assisted living. It's good. The staff was very good; they were helpful and friendly. From what I understand, the food is good. At first it was delivered to his room. Delivery was a little slower, and the food was a little colder, but he's fine now that he's going down to the dining room. The facility is very nice looking."

"My tour at The Village at Willow Crossings was excellent. I waited in the lobby which had nice stairs, and we went into a side room that was used as a library. I got an excellent description of what they offer. Then I got a tour of their sample room and the cafeteria. The room is an apartment. I also saw a pub, and a community private room where you could host a party or a dinner there. There was a place where you pick up snacks like juice or tea during the day, it's a part of the cafeteria but a little bit separate. I saw where they had the beauty parlor, and they told me they had people that came in like a foot doctor, a dentist, and etcetera. And the staff who assisted me was really nice, energetic, organized, and knowledgeable. The place looked nice and clean, and it was well-kept."

"My mom will be moving into Clifton Assisted Living. It's a beautiful facility. It's well-maintained. It's very, very clean, and smells good. It's just very warm, and we got a really good vibe when we first walked in. The staff there are very friendly and nice, and what we love the most is the people milling around, and everyone seemed happy and it was an active place. It just seemed like a great, great place. The residents were in the recreation room. They were playing pool, the women were playing pool, which we thought was fun. And a lot of people were sitting out in their cafe area, outside of their dining area, and many people were sitting there and enjoying themselves. They spoke with us when we came through, and told us that they enjoyed that part. It's a very social place."

"All American Assisted Living at Raynham was great. We liked it, and it was our first choice. The rooms were very nice. They had one apartment that had a bigger room and it was nice, but it was obviously more expensive. The tour guide was very pleasant and answered our questions. We just thought the price was higher than we had expected. It was not as homey as the others, but it was adequate. They said they had amenities, but we didn't see any in action. They had music nights, bingo, other games, and a van for transportation if somebody wanted to go shopping or whatever. The staff was excellent."

"Brookdale Centre of New England was nice. There was an activity there at that time. The rooms were very bright. I think they had everything there that would give people plenty of space. I liked the way they had their set up as far as their parking and the activity area. I thought it was really good. The staff was very friendly, very helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The dining area was very cheerful. It had some area that you could sit in if you wanted company or by yourself. The residents' rooms were a good size. There were different sizes available and they seemed very adequate. I know when we went through there that my friend felt comfortable with the size, too, the one-bedroom size."
