"We went for a tour for my parents. They don’t have a full kitchen, they provide the meals. It's a nice facility and I can recommend this as a good place. "

"The most that I liked at Clifton Assisted Living was the staff was excellent. It was a beautiful setting. I loved how they encouraged the residents to continue with their activities. They give them access to food for three meals in addition to a room where they provide food and snacks that's open 24 hours. I thought that was a nice touch. It seemed like a really good fit for my mom. Of the apartments that we toured, one was a one-bedroom, and the other was a studio. They're very well-maintained and spacious. There wasn't anything that we didn't like about it, the activities that they offered and the menu for food choices. They provide a weekly mass for the residents, as well as weekly Holy Communion and rosary. We met two people, one was the front desk person. She gave us the first part of the tour. Her name was Olivia. She was very sweet and very respectful of the pace that my mother needed to tour the area. We never felt rushed. They offered snacks and beverages to us. It was early afternoon and we hadn't eaten lunch, so that was very nice. The second person who gave us the rest of the tour was one of the administrators, Victoria, and she was excellent. She provided a lot of helpful information. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We were very pleased and very happy to be taking the next steps. The dining area was very beautifully maintained. It looked immaculate."

"I toured Brookdale Sakonnet Bay. It didn't start off good, but it got better. The woman who was doing the tour was 20 minutes late. She'd forgotten that she was meeting with us, so that part wasn't good. But once she got there, she was very knowledgeable. The condition of the place was good. It could have been freshened up a little, but overall it was OK. It was clean. It didn't smell or anything. It could just use fresh paint, and that was in the common areas. The apartments themselves were very nice. They gave us cookies when we left, and the cookies were delicious."

"I am a resident of Orchard Cove. I chose the place because of the surroundings, facilities, activities as well as friendly residents and staff. I wanted to be in a place that should my health needs change, I can move to enhanced living or skilled nursing. I have not been disappointed in my decision. Anyone considering a continuing care retirement community should seriously consider Orchard Cove. "

"My mom lived in Laurelmead before she passed. It was very nice, but it was very expensive. It had all the amenities; like an exercise room, a swimming pool, and they showed movies there. There are some reasons I wouldn't want to live in a place like that. One of them was that you had to pay for a certain amount of meals and you had to eat in the dining room, but you'd pay for it. You can pick and choose which meals you wanted, but the people there would usually eat dinner in the dining room. They had a cafe where you can get lunch, but then that counted as one of your meals too. I think it was, like, thirty meals a month that you could eat there. She had a kitchen so she could cook. She had a condo. She owned it herself. In fact, it's just sold. It was a really nice place and it was pretty easy to go for nice walks around there. One of the things I liked about it was that there was no golf course. I don't see why people who don't play golf have to pay for a golf course. I hate that. They had a library. In fact, my mom was the librarian for many years. They have yoga classes and sometimes they'd have concerts. Everyone was super nice. Housekeeping was provided and would come in every two weeks and vacuum and clean. They even had a garden. You can have a little space in the garden to grow whatever you wanted."

"For what I had seen at Cranberry Pond Apartments, I am quite impressed and satisfied. You could have a two-bedroom or a one-bedroom apartment. It had a small balcony and they had a main parking area. "

"I like The Village at Waterman Lake. It's a very nice facility with different-sized rooms to choose from. They have one-bedrooms and two-bedrooms and the price would determine the room that you choose. They have a building for independent and another building for assisted living, which is what I am looking for in a senior facility for my mom. "

"Sparrows Point was situated where I am currently living, so I am acquainted with the area. I visited there because I wanted to transfer as soon as there was a vacant room available. It is nice that I could go shopping in the facility if I don't have a car. There was also a bus twice a week and it is for free. They also had execise classes and different trips. For a semi-private facility, it has good quality. "

"I liked the cleanliness and the friendliness of the people at Atria Harborhill. The rooms were larger than we anticipated, very nice, and open with lots of sun. My father-in-law did have lunch there, and he said it was fabulous. Because he is not a patient there, we've just gone for a couple of daily visits, and the staff were very friendly people for sure, but I am not really sure about their work ethics. I know there is a men's luncheon group, they had movies, shopping trips, games, and people that would come in to put on concerts like music and instruments. It was very clean. My mother-in-law did visit other places, but they've decided that this would be the only place that he would go. "

"Epoch was homey and smaller, so my mother liked that. It seemed rundown though and it wasn’t clean. It should be updated with new furniture. The food was OK. The people were very nice. The staff was good. "

"It was a smaller place. The building was previously a hotel. The rooms were very small. They recently updated the common spaces and that looked nice, with brighter colors and so forth, but it felt a little bit more intimate, a little bit more closed in. The hallways weren't as wide and spacious as the other place. We liked the woman who gave us the tour. She answered a lot of our questions. The thing that we didn't like about it is the size of the rooms. They are extremely small. There is very little storage for clothing and belongings. They have a chapel where they offer Catholic mass six days a week. They have a place where she can have her hair done, a manicure, and an activities area."

"We were impressed that all of the rooms were studios for singles with their own full bathrooms. It is a brand-new facility that has only been open for about 2 years, so the facilities were all very nice and clean. The location was near a highway, so it was very easy to get to. "

"The Community at Pond Meadow was a very, very nice place. There was only one woman in the office who showed me the Deluxe apartment. It had two bedrooms, two baths, and a small room for TV and whatever you want to put in there. The facility didn't have any pool or restaurant though. I would absolutely still recommend this place though. "
