"We looked at Hudson Grande Senior Living. They have little pods where people can gather and a dining room. The overall feel is clean and modern, and people seem happy. They go on trips, they do bingo, and movies and they have a hair salon and fitness center. The staff that I met were incredibly friendly."

"I was very impressed with Danbury in Tallmadge. I think it's perfect. The facility was amazing. I want to live there. It's beautiful, and it seems very welcoming. The woman who took me around, when we would pass someone that lived there, she knew their name. It just seemed very comfortable and caring. The staff were very, very good. They have a lot of activities. They have transportation for days out, they go to the grocery store once a week, and they take them out to restaurants if they want. They have in-house health care. It was just a beautiful, welcoming facility. They have a patio so that the residents could sit outside. They have a very nice place out front with some benches and some bird feeders. I met a very nice woman out there who apparently sits out there a lot. She had a squirrel friend, this little squirrel came along, and she was very happy. There are places to be where you're comfortable. The staff were very accommodating, very informative, and very thorough."

"Vitalia Senior Residences at Stow is a beautiful community with a very friendly staff. Everyone is very welcoming. There's a warm swimming pool, a fitness center, a bistro, a putting green outside, a Bocce ball court, a courtyard area, and a dog park. My dad's room is perfect. It's beautifully decorated, equipped very well for elderly people, and it's got a large walk-in closet."

"I am writing this review on behalf of a family friend who was a resident at Maplewood because I think it's important for people to know how extremely happy the family was. Our friend was treated with the utmost respect and loving care while he was a resident there. One thing he always talked about was how much fun the daily activities were that were offered along with the field trips where his wife was welcome to join him on. He also raved about how delicious the food was. He enjoyed picking his food from a menu. The family was also given a newsletter that kept them up to speed with everything going on during the month. The facility was always very clean and the grounds outside are absolutely beautiful. When the time comes where our loved ones need to have more care than we can give them at home it's important to know that they are being cared for like we would care for them at home. That was the exact experience our family friends had with their loved one at Maplewood. "

"We're living here. The appearance is very nice, and the layout is very convenient. The food is good, my wife is playing Scrabble right now, and I have played bingo. The facility has nice surroundings, the staff is very accommodating, and is very nice and helpful."

"We had placed mom at Cardinal Retirement Village. The environment is very relaxed. It’s very homey and not pretentious. It's nicely and tastefully decorated without being overdone so it's very comfortable to be there. What we really like about the place was that the residents actually have an apartment to live in, not just a room so there's little kitchenette, a living room, a nice size bedroom, and a fully equipped bathroom. I really like it. They have tons of activities that take place on the premises plus they have their own bus that takes them to place and restaurant and hikes; they do walking trails. Every apartment also comes with its own private screened patio with its garden and the area around the patio is there to use. If they wish they can put furniture out there. They can garden/plant whatever they want. It's perfect; absolutely wonderful. "

"I recently visited a friend of our family at your Assisted Living and wish to report that my visit was so much more than I expected it to be. I was greeted at the front entrance, the ambiance and smell were inviting, the building was elegant and clean, staff were friendly and seemed to really take ownership in their responsibilities. My friend Mark is content and even takes on a daily role of delivering the mail newspapers to all of the people there. I was invited to join him for lunch and even join into the Men's Group that was wrapping up as I arrived. When home is no longer a safe option, it's nice to see that there are great local accommodations to help carry on and enrich the lives of our seniors. Thank You for a pleasant experience. "

"Summit Corners has very good customer service. They also have very good facilities that are kept up well. It's a beautiful setting/environment. There was one room, and I took some pictures of it. It's not too bad. It's a little bit small, but it has a big closet. It's private, so I like that my mom would not have to have a roommate, and that's a plus. It's more like a home instead of like a regular nursing home. I didn't try out the food, but the staff member who gave me the tour says it's very good. It sounded good from the menu, and the staff says she eats it herself."

"We checked on them. The assisted living area there was smaller than the other facility. The rooms were very nice. They didn't have a shop or a deli there. Food-wise, they're about the same as with the other facility."

"We had a tour at Danbury in Alliance. They were a total non-smoking facility, and my brother smokes. That was probably the biggest issue, plus the price. "

"Mom is in Brookdale Alliance for respite care. The place is nice and clean, and the people are very friendly. Her apartment is nice and comfortable. They take them out once a week to eat out or go to the movies. They took them to the county fair one time. They also do a lot of indoor activities like playing trivia, Bingo, Cornhole, and she's enjoying those. Their meals are very good, too."
