Whenever I call I am informed about what’s going on with my brother. So please just keep doing what you and your staff are doing, because I know he is in good hands. Ray M. and family"

"Atria Tinton Falls is where my mother is now. We like it the best. She is happy as can be. Because of COVID, we weren't able to go into these places, but we made an educated decision, and Atria was our choice. There are not as many as there would normally be, but they have activities. I sign up for visits where we sit outside. We're six feet apart and we always have our masks on. Everyone is lovely to my mother and to us. We are happy so far. Everything has been great so far. Most of her sadness is from not being able to sit with us and not being able to visit her room and spend the day with her. It doesn't have anything to do with the community, but she is always happy when I visit her. Everybody treats her great. I have no complaints, and the business person goes way above what is expected of her. My mother has a few complaints with the food, but it is just a taste bud difference because she normally loves everything. Everything is beautiful. When she first moved in, we put things away, and we helped set up her room. There is plenty of space in her room. She has a full bed in there, she has a nice comfortable recliner, and she has a room like a bistro set. Atria is also one of the more affordable places that we looked at. All the others looked fine. We tried to get educated on different aspects of her care and how her physical and mental being would progress and how they would care for her as she needed more care, and Atria just seemed to be the right fit for us."

"My mother moved into Sunrise of Wall. The experience has been very good. It's very clean, updated, and the staff is fantastic. She has no complaints about the food. They take them to the boardwalk, they take them shopping, they have independent exercises, events, it's been scaled down 'cause of COVID, but nonetheless they still keep her busy."

"My dad was a resident of Wellington Estates at Spring Lake. Everybody there was professional. They took care of everybody. The place was well-managed and kept. I had no complaints about it. The food wasn't too bad. They had programs if you wanted to partake but he wasn't interested. The room was well-kept and had a nice window view. We furnished the furniture but overall everything was nice and they had a kitchen."

"Sunrise of Shrewsbury is a beautiful new facility. It's big and it's gorgeous. I wish I was 55, I would move in tomorrow. I loved it. While I was waiting to go in for a tour, I heard a sing-along going on in the background. I was sitting in front of the fireplace there, I turned around, and they were having a sing-along for their happy hour. They have music playing and they were singing together and had their little drinks. Everybody seemed happy. Then I got to smell food, and I went home starving because it smells amazing. Nicole was amazing, she's the director. She gave me the tour because the other person had gone home already. While we walked around, she knew everybody's name. Everyone said hello and smiled at her. You couldn't have staged it to be that amazing. She was involved with everything, helping people that looked like they might have been struggling with their walk, getting an elevator, holding an elevator for somebody, and picking up things. If she saw a piece of trash on the floor, she'd take it out. She said, even though everybody has a job, no one here is above doing a different person's job, or below doing somebody else's job. Everyone's here to help. Whether the person is working on maintenance, or you're the director, or in sales, whatever your job is, if somebody needs a hand with something, you're willing to help. That's what they're looking for, for their staff, and that's why I fell in love with them. I only got to smell the food, but it smells amazing. We were there when some of the guests were finished eating already, and she asked everybody how they enjoyed their meal, and it was delicious. It's brand new, immaculate, and clean. It has all the amenities that you would want in a new place. Even when we went on the outside deck, they brought the pillows in to make sure that they didn't get rained on and whatnot. Since it was just built, they didn't miss a beat on amenities."

"My brother moved to Mira Vie at Tinton Falls and he likes it there. When we went there, the staff was very friendly, very efficient with everything, and very accommodating. The facilities are very clean and my brother tells me the food is very good. He has no problems with the food service. They clean his room, they do his laundry, and they're very helpful. They've called me several times and just let me know how he was doing. So, I'm pretty happy with it. I think they were very fair with him when it came to the price because he didn't have that much funds to start with. They've bent a little bit for him and took care of us."

"Our experience is great. The food's good, the care is good, and the workers are good. The staff is good. It's perfect. It's expensive, but good. Mom has a studio. It fits a double bed, a chest of drawers, a nightstand, a TV stand, and a recliner. They have bingo, arts and crafts, happy hour, and shopping trips on a bus. They also have a library, a courtyard, an activities room, and a movie theater."

"We chose Millennium Memory Care for my aunt because there were only fifteen people there, and it's like a house type of environment with five staff members, so it wasn't like a big institution. There's a lot of sunlight and it's only for people with Alzheimer's. We haven't got the chance to go inside because of the COVID, but as far as the attentiveness and calling us back, it's been good. They have a program now where she's having help with her swallowing, they got her a better wheelchair, they're gonna have somebody come in for four hours a day, and she sees a doctor once a week. She's getting much better care than what we can give her at home. I also like the staff. The facility looks like a home that's built in the neighborhood because in Holmdel, all the houses are big, and this looks like it fits into the neighborhood. It's a bit expensive, but I feel like we're getting what we paid for."

"Leisure Park was very bright and airy when you walked into it. It was very inviting. The staff was very nice. They showed me all the rooms and showed me around the whole building. They gave me a form for my mom to fill out the application process when she's ready. They were very helpful and very nice. The residents themselves that I ran into the elevator seemed to be very pleasant and seemed to enjoy the residence. They had activities like yoga classes, Wii, exercise classes, bingo, barbeque down the courtyard on summer, and music. They have a lot of things. They had a bus that could take you shopping, and they had someone with them to assist the people. The rooms were very nice. They had a studio and a one-bedroom apartment. They were all very nice, and they renovated some so that they could keep the place up. "

"Bella Terra was nice. It was just a little spread out with a lot of walking from place to place for my mom. The woman was very nice. She gave us lunch when we were there. Overall, it was nice and clean. They had senior trips, but my mother would not get involved in that. They would take her to her doctors' appointments if we wanted. "

"We liked everything about Villas of Holmdel. We picked out a two-bedroom apartment, played with the long-term care policy for almost a year, and then they finally said, "No way." This place felt very homey and wasn't huge. The residents looked about our age. The food was excellent, and we had lunch there. We loved the two-bedroom apartment, and I felt we would have been comfortable living there. The lady who gave the tour held that apartment for us. She stayed in constant contact with my son and worked with us. I gave her a deposit. She tried so hard to get us there. The dining area was very nice. They had a nice movie theater, a grandchildren's night, an ice cream bar, a spa, a beauty parlor, an exercise room, and outdoor seating."

"My mom moved to Mira Vie At Toms River. Her room has just been redone, and it's beautiful. The staff so far has been outstanding. The food I thought was delicious. She did paintings. She did chair exercises, and she likes to play bingo. They had musical entertainment two nights ago. All the places that we saw were so expensive. This is the least expensive if you had to compare it to others."

"The Villas was very nice. It's a recent build, so it's beautiful. The amenities were lovely. It was a very nice experience. It was very small. We were told that they had availability, but when we went there, they had this one teeny 500 square foot unit available. The other units were very nice, but very tight as well. They had a couple of outside units with outside access and it felt like zero security. Their only security was, "You're supposed to go to the front desk," and that's not security. It had an external door, so if they left it unlocked, anybody could walk in on your loved ones. Especially my grandmother, who is in the beginning stages of dementia, it felt very unsafe with that type of access. Otherwise, it was very nice. The woman we spoke to was very nice. You had to take a COVID test when you got in, so it felt like they had very good protocols, but it wasn't a good fit. The dining area was very nice and wide open, so it very much felt like a huge restaurant. It didn't really have that cozy feel, but it was a nice area."

"When the doctors at Bayshore Hospital determined that my 91 year old mother needed special care that only an assisted living facility can provide, like any son who had cared for and lived with his mother during her time of need, I was a little apprehensive. My mother has been a resident of the Millennium Memory Care in Aberdeen (recommended to me by Bayshore Hospital) for close to a year now and I cannot begin to tell you how pleased I am with the attention of care my mother receives from their dedicated staff. Not only does she receive medical care, medication management and regularly scheduled checkups, they also provide a hair dresser and hold holiday parties. Now with the Covid-19 pandemic, the staff has suspended visitation and put other measures in place to safeguard the health of their residents. I would recommend this Care facility to anyone. "

"Hovnanian Senior Housing Services was very nice, except the price was a little more than living in an independent community. They also have assisted living and a nursing staff. They have swimming, they provide buses, and they have a game room. I liked the cleanliness, the size of the rooms, and what they had to offer. "
