Sunnyside Manor's Independence 'Plus' Assisted Living was clean. The rooms were just too small of a space for where my parents are coming from. We looked at both assisted living and memory care and the lady was very knowledgeable and helpful. They had some amenities, but there weren't many activities outside, unlike the other ones we visited where they had shuffleboard or putting greens or things like that. They have a salon, though, and it's very clean. It's close to where my parents live and they wanted to keep their doctors.

Go somewhere else... especially if you are looking for alzheimers/ dementia care for your loved one. Their Recollections Unit is understaffed and your loved one is not safe. THAT is exactly what contributed to my mom's passing.

My family member is on recollections. I absolutely love the coordinator. She is motivated, friendly, polite and caring. Nice staff. Clean environment

My husband needs nursing care, and he’s in Sunnyside Manor. The staff is all very pleasant and caring, and they seem competent. The rooms are spectacular; they’re kept immaculately clean, and you bring your own furniture. The bathroom is sanitized regularly. It’s probably the highest rated community in the area.

Sunnyside Manor, to me, is a top community. It’s a very new place with beautiful rooms. The whole community is very bright and cheerful. It was an excellent visit.
