"I went toured here. That would have been ideal, but they didn't have any two-bedroom openings. They're excellent. I like the two bedrooms, two baths and it was just very nice. The staff during the tour was lovely. It was only one person, but we were exposed to others that worked there that were very nice. The common spaces were very nice and very relaxing. I didn't see any activities, but they were listed."

"I chose Courtyard Manor of Fenton for my aunt because the director was very knowledgeable and they seemed like they really care there. It was a very good decision. The size is small and she gets personal attention. The staff is wonderful. Her room is clean, comfortable, she can have any item she chooses from home, and it's very big too, its spacious. She's allowed to have a dog. They have indoor activities. I'm getting more than I pay for compared to the other places I've seen."

"My sister has moved into Vibrant Life, The Lodge of Durand. It was by far the best, as far as staff, pricing, and what they had to offer. The other ones were much higher in price, didn't seem to have the room size, and weren't as up-to-date as Vibrant was. I have no complaints with the staff or the food. The food is fine. The activities appear to have helped her; they're excellent."

"I liked the balconies at Rose Senior Living at Providence Park. All their apartments had balconies, or else walk out on the first level. The person that showed us around was very knowledgeable. They did have all the amenities that you would be looking for with the library and the salon. And it seems to me like they had fairly good activities, and they had a gym with exercise equipment and things in it. We did not have a meal there. The room sizes were all good. People were in the hallway and things, and people would say hello. Their location was good. It was within five miles of where we would want to be."

"I spoke with the director and she was very pleasant. Tami took the time to listen to my concern. She then began speaking about the Care home. Once I finished the conversation, I set up a tour, and everything was as she mentioned. The staff seemed very professional and knowledgeable. I loved the fact during the tour the residents were working on excerises. I asked was it ok if I spoke with a resident to ask if they enjoyed the home and he replied YES. Everyone seemed so happy. I'm happy I found this Home. "

"Atria Park was quite nice, but it was too expensive. For the 2 of us, it was going to be $6300 a month. The rooms are smaller than other places because it’s set up for assisted living. The staff was fine and very accommodating. We had lunch there; it was good. They have entertainment, and they do go on some trips like to the stores. "

"The guy that ran Orchard Hills Living was very sweet. It was assisted living, but they had memory care as well, which was very nice. They were willing to accept my friend's cat into the home as well. It felt very much like home, not like a facility. You could tell that someone was there constantly taking care of the elderly that were there. There were smiling faces all around and the owner was a joy. He was very sweet. The staff answered all the questions we had. The dining area was lovely. I did not see any activities, but my stepdad might've seen something because he was commenting about how everyone looks like they were having a wonderful time. Everything was amazing. I would trust them with even my parents if it came to a point where I wouldn't be able to take care of them myself."

"The staff at The Avalon of Commerce Township was outstanding. The amenities and facilities were top-notch. The staff was very informative and very helpful. They offered more post-tour assistance, so I'm still in contact with them. They had a full range of amenities and activities for the seniors to keep them active. They had a gym, a salon, a movie theater, and outside activities. They took them shopping and stuff."

"My Mother was diagnosed with Lew Bodies Dementia. One of the more challenging Dementias to manage. The staff were OUTSTANDING with my Mother's ever changing needs. While visiting with my Mother on many occasions I was able to witness first hand the attention not only to my Mother but others who Lived in Courtyard Manor Swartz Creek with her. The staff GENUINELY CARE for those they assist. When I looked for an Assisted Living/Memory Care for my Mother the most important thing to me was not how fancy or expensive the building was or was not but rather how will the staff take care of my Mom. I felt Very much at Peace with my Mother at Courtyard Manor Swartz Creek. It's not the building or the business it's the GIVERS OF CARE.
