My mom moved to Village Manor Retirement. They have very attentive people. The nursing staff is phenomenal, and their great food and social activities are just very nice, and very clean. My mom said the food is great. She's very happy with the food. They've got a little bit of everything. They have a dining room, a hair salon, a physical therapy area, and quite a few things, and a library. There are all sorts of things that they can sign up for. They have music night, and they have bingo. There are a bunch of different things, but she hasn't done anything yet, but it's offered.

We had my father and father-in-law there and couldn’t have been happier. The place was always very clean and smelled nice. Staff was very kind and loving, you can tell the employees really enjoy their jobs. I always trusted them to help with my dad when I was out of town. Food was really good, fresh and high quality. Best thing I ever did was move my dad there for the last year and a half of his life. He was well taken care of and very much felt like part of the Village Manor family.

Village Manor Retirement had a full range from very little support to full support. The staff was very informative and very helpful and followed up, and they're still assisting. They had a full range of activities for the seniors to do, plus outings. They had a movie theater and outdoor activities. They do movie nights, and it's next to a senior center, so there are plays and everything during the summertime.

I visited Village Manor Retirement. The staff who toured me told me everything I needed to know and showed me all the rooms. I was very pleased with the rooms, they were very nice. She showed me a salon, a library, and an activity room. The grounds looked really nice and super clean. The people were super friendly. I got a good vibe from the place. I think my dad would be cared for very well and there's a lot for him to do there.

My mother-in-law moved in at Village Manor Retirement last month. It is the perfect place for her. We chose it because of the location, the price, and the amenities. They have an excellent staff there. They have a pool table, shuffleboard, and a salon. They provide 3 meals a day. They also have a snack room, where you can go anytime and get coffee, tea, chocolates, or little snacks. Your family can visit in that room. They have a couple of lounges. They have musicians come in. They have piano players come in. They have entertainment and activities. It is less expensive compared to a lot of other places.

Village Manor Retirement was a very nice facility. We were favorably impressed with it. The first thing that we saw was the outside of the building and everything was very well kept on the outside and in the courtyard. It was very well maintained. The interior was very well done. It was attractive, warm, and welcoming. The people were very friendly. The residents seemed to be happy. They were eating and talking with each other and we saw them after dinner. They gathered around in the lounge area and waited for people to pick them up outdoors. The apartments that they had were very nice and very well planned. I can't find fault in it at all. The thing that we have to think about for our own situation is the care and the cost of it. Whether or not they were in wheelchairs, there was no evidence of any difference in the way people were treated or talked to. It was very nice.

My wife is in Village Manor Retirement. It was very convenient because of the location and the price was right. It's a very nice place. The people are excellent and very friendly. They have great activities. She likes it there. She has a very nice apartment. They bring in live music, and they have all kinds of games organized, including bingo, and card games. There's always something to do. I've met the chef and he's a very nice man. He comes from a restaurant background. The food's excellent. They have three choices per meal, and my wife likes it very much. The facility is fairly new. It was built in 2009, I believe, and there has been a couple of new additions put on it since then, but it's very well maintained and updated. It's very clean and very pretty the way they designed the whole lobby area and the dining room. The staff is very, very friendly and very helpful. They also provide a shuttle service three days a week if my wife wants to go out somewhere. They're very accommodating.

We toured Village Manor Retirement. The physical appearance is beautiful. It's 14 years old, you wouldn't know if it's four months old. It's beautifully kept. It's very well lit. It has wide-open spaces for people to walk, especially people who need walkers or other assistance. My domestic partner liked the fact that it was bright and open. You walk in, the lobby is very big, it's got comfortable sofas. People are sitting and chatting. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the facility and the family that has cared for it for 14 years. We had residents coming up, introducing themselves to us. Several wanted to show him their rooms, and he gladly took a look at the rooms. We saw empty rooms that he was very surprised at, because of the size, all the windows, and an enclosed patio, and he liked the idea very much. There's a wonderful, comfortable library with a fireplace where people sit and read books or listen to their cell phones and with their earbuds, and they can just sit and be comfortable, and read or listen. We didn't have a meal, but we were told that the food was very good. There's variety. The portions are good- sized. We toured the first and second floors. The second floor is nice and bright and has a lot of little spaces where you could sit and be comfortable and just be quiet. There's also a little bowling table up there, you could play games with family members and things. We were very impressed. The grounds were beautiful, lots of woods around, and it was very easy to get to major cross streets, and major freeways. It was very accessible. You don't hear a lot of road noise because the facility is kind of set up way back from the road. So it's very nice to drive up there and see it, and when you're sitting out on the patio, which we did, you don't hear a lot of the road noise. So that was nice. The tour director Jana was wonderful. She knows so much about the place and pointed out a lot. We left with a terrific package of information, room sizes, pricing, and what's included. We met with the two medical people who were very forthcoming. My domestic partner has a drug regimen because he is immunosuppressed from a lung transplant. So he had some very critical medications that can't be disrupted, and they were very good at giving me the name of the pharmacy that they worked through. So they were wonderful with him. They spent about 20 minutes talking to him, finding out about his blindness, and what they could do for him. The tour was a very positive experience, but the medical part was especially important for him.

I'm going with Village Manor Retirement for my mom for respite. My tour was great. They were nice, answered all our questions, and it was a beautiful place. I like that the location is close to my home, and the people that I spoke with were very helpful, it was clean and open, and airy. It was a nice place and my mom likes it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were planning an event that day, and it was really fun, it was like a Hawaiian thing that was cute. It's on East Highland Road which is the main road, so it's a three-lane road that's easily accessible. The grounds are beautiful, very well maintained, they have balconies overlooking, the green space.

Village Manor Retirement was nice. They were more updated. The staff was very nice, and I really enjoyed them. They were very welcoming and all that. The place is better than most. It's new and updated, but all of them are 800 - 1,000 square feet. They're all kind of small no matter what because my parents like a bedroom each to themselves. I think if you wanted to live like in a condo type situation, totally independent of the community, you could. They have one restaurant. It was nice. They have some activities: arts and crafts, bingo, and movies. They also have people who come over and entertain the people. The neighborhood was nice. It's just they all looked like institutional type structures. That's the drawback for most of these places. They were built near communities, and they're just too institutionalized. They have long hallways and mostly ground level. The apartments were floor one and two, nothing too high up.

I couldn't be happier than I am at Village Manor. This facility is attactive, clean and very well run. The amount of amenities/activities available is amazing. The rooms vary in size...I happen to be in one of the upgraded ones with lots of windows, and I love it. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. But best of all is the food. I have been impressed by all of the choices I have, and I have yet to find anything that hasn't tasted wonderfully. I've even learned to like some things I didn't think I would like. The chefs do an incredible job.

Village Manor Retirement is independent. If my father needs more assistance, we have to work with their medical care team. It was centrally located to my sister and I, and it was affordable for him. It was comparable to what he's living in, in Florida. We had a very good rapport and meeting with all the people that we met with. It was a very clean and very friendly place, and it just felt like home. My sister said she compared it to where he's at in Florida, and she said it's very comparable. The main reason we chose it was the location, and it kind of met all our needs. The staff was excellent. The rooms were spacious and extremely clean. You would have a patio looking out on the gardens. It was very nice. The dining room was beautiful, and they had a smaller one next to it for breakfast. They had a library next to it and a very beautiful activity room. They had several private rooms you could use for parties or get-togethers. They had a company in there cleaning carpets while we were there. They keep up on that. It was very apparent. Everything looked really new and fresh.

I toured Village Manor Retirement for my mom, and it was very beautiful. It was very clean, and it was laid out really nicely. The only negative thing from my mom's perspective would be that the laundry is not in the rooms, so it would be hard for her to do her laundry without having to pay for it. They're very clean, everybody seems happy there, but it's just a little on the expensive side for a lot of seniors, especially the ones who don't have a lot of money. The staff is very knowledgeable. The place is very clean, very organized, and they take a lot of pride in their facility.

They were very friendly at Village Manor Retirement. It looked like they had a lot of activities going on. That is where my friend actually felt most comfortable. He liked that one the best, and it looked really nice to me. His concern was he did not realize he would have to have furnishings and stuff, so that was gonna be a little bit of a hardship for him. That was his only drawback. The staff was very helpful and caring. I thought for him it would be difficult because it was two levels, but he did not seem to be bothered by that. Personally, that would have been my concern. They had elevators though, and it was very well kept.

I visited Village Manor Retirement, but I think it was too expensive. At Village Manor, everything was included: all meals, electricity, water, and stuff like that are all included in the price. The rooms were very small. They showed me a one-bedroom there. I could not possibly afford a two-bedroom because they were too expensive. The one-bedroom I thought was a little closet. The staff were good; they knew their stuff. There are several versions of the one-bedroom there. They had a little more expensive one, which had like a sunroom, and that was a nice place. They have a big restaurant-type place, and they have activities for the seniors like playing cards, games, and all that stuff. If you have the monthly income to afford it, that is a nice place to go. It is in a nice area; they have all kinds of stores around there.

I have moved into Village Manor. It's very safe here. There are no amenities because of the COVID. It's a beautiful place. Any open spaces? Yes. We can walk outside. There are trees and there's woods behind the facility. The staff members are excellent. The food is good; you have to eat in your room.

I visited Village Manor Retirement. They were very nice and very welcoming. They had primarily one- and two-bedroom apartments. The dining room itself was nice, bright, and quite comfortable, and the tables were round. Activities were about the same as what everybody else has like bingo, movies, etc.

I don’t have any worries at Village Manor. They treat me fine. I like the meals, and there are services offered. They have an activities program and exercise. They have a library, gathering room, a lobby for people, and a pool table. The staff is very helpful, warm, and friendly. It is not homey but certainly an adequate place to stay. I'm happy, and I’m satisfied with it.
