This a facility that has four locations throughout Tuscon. Two are 10 residents, one 8, and one 5. They are family owned and operated. They have been in business 18 years. The home visited is very nice and well maintained. It sits on a hill with beautiful views. The enclosed yard is well maintained with patio. greenery and flowers. They have home cooking and love to cook. They do three meals a day and snacks. They try to give residents a variety of foods and choices. The food is very good. The inside of home is very nice and clean with a living room and large dining room. They have private and semi private rooms. They have a nice dining room and living room. The residents seem happy and well taken care of. They do all three levels of care. There is a nurse practitioner who comes weekly and on call. All assistants are certified. They do provide transport to appointments. The staff seems nice and caring. They do in house activities. They go for outings as well as shopping, luncheons, and other events. They are big on keeping residents busy. This seems a nice, homey atmosphere.

My brother in law stayed at Casa Theresita for five months. I wouldn’t put my dog there. They have no activities, they have no yard space and they are not equipped to take care of male patients with problems. They have one staff member working on a shift with seven patients. His clean clothes smell terrible.
