"We visited The Oaks in Gilbert. I looked into their independent living. One of the apartments that we were shown was kind of under construction. Other than that, I think they pretty much compare well with the others. I didn't interact that much with the staff, but the person who was showing us around was nice. The facility was clean, and it seemed pleasant enough. I looked at a 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom, and the rooms looked like they were adequate."

"My tour experience at Sky Ridge Senior Living was good. The guy that gave me the tour was very nice. He was very good. I like that place. It was like on my list. It was big and it was clean. He took me around and there was music playing, which I liked. My husband loves music. The rooms were good companion rooms. It was nice. It was good."

"Infinite Care in Chandler was immaculate. It smelled terrific and they had an availability. The problem is that my husband is more severe than the other residents in the household. They're more ambulatory and they're verbal, and he's not. He's in a wheelchair and he's not verbal at all. So, their level of care wasn't sufficient. Other than that, it was an beautiful place. The owners are just wonderful people. The rooms were a nice size. They shared a bathroom and they had a master bedroom, but somebody was occupying it. They have a nice little yard out in the backyard and the meals they cooked look good. They have a living room with a big TV in it."

"Brookdale Chandler Regional was very nice and clean. The people were very nice. The staff was very knowledgeable, very sweet, and answered all my questions. It was perfect. They have lots of activities to do. The dining area was very nice. I would recommend it."

"My mother is at Solterra. Their services are pretty good and the staff and residents seem pretty happy to be there. They have different games throughout the day and people come in to play music. The food tastes bad and dry. Her apartment os nice, but not handicap friendly because the sink is not wheelchair accessible."

"Brookdale Central Chandler was very nice and very clean. The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable and they had a lot of great activities and great food menu choices. They could bring their own furniture to make it feel like home when they live there. The dining area was nice, open, spacious, and very welcoming. The room was cozy, nice, spacious, and very personalized with a very large bath. They had a salon so that they wouldn't have to go offsite to get their hair done, they did both men's and women's hair."

"Medisys Assisted Living Home is a small facility. It's a home-like environment, and the caregiver per resident is high. My mom says the food is OK, and she seems happy there. The staff has been friendly and loving too. The place is also very clean. The only thing they're lacking is the activities."

"My granddad moved to KT Homes LLC Assisted Living Facility. What I liked about it is the staff there. They seemed to care. It's a smaller home, so it's only four beds. It seems more homey. It's nice. I like that they even not only care for them, but they also do different programs with them like they have bingo and different things they do with their residents. They have three meals a day. I didn't eat any of the meals, but my granddad ate them. I mean he has no complaints. They can gather in the backyard. They have a sitting area. They're also starting to do some planting with the residents if they want to, like plant different vegetables and stuff like that."

"My father moved into Penzi Home two weeks ago. It's an actual home, and it is spotless. They have a 24/7 caregiver. They house a total of 6 residents and they assist in ADL. They do activities. They offer both private and semi-private rooms. They're very supportive and caring. They're available all the time for the families of the residents. You can go visit any time you want. Or if you want to take your loved one out to lunch, you can go pick them up, take them out to lunch and bring them back. They have a patio area outside. Every once in a while, they'll have an outing. They go on a little field trip for a couple of hours and take the residents to go see something or do something together. They have an RN that comes periodically throughout the month to check on the residents. They assist with bathing, clothing, and meals. All the meals are home-cooked. They do cards and board games, watch movies, and they also have a pizza night."

"The backyard views and the interior of this home are incredible. They treated my grandmother, and us, like family and went out of their way to make her feel loved. The owners brought their kids over for special piano performances and for special visits just to cheer my grandma up since she loved children so much. They create happiness."
