"Brookdale Tanque Verde was our favorite. It was an excellent community. Everything from the staff to the room to the meal planning and to their activities, I couldn't say anything bad about them. The apartments were appropriate and nice sized. They had arts and crafts. The staff said they offer little field trips and nature hike."

"Arroyo Gardens was very nice, brand new, quite modern, and very attractive. I saw a 1-bedroom apartment, but it was chopped up with so many walls that I would have preferred a studio. The dining area was light, very airy, and very attractive. The staff member was very nice, very professional, outgoing, and I think they will be easy to deal with. It was a very positive experience. They have a library and a pool, and there seems to be lots of programs going on all the time. When I was there they were very busy."

"This is a wonderful home. My aunt has been there since 2019 and she is very well taken care of. The staff always tell her if she goes out for a ride with me welcome home. How was your day.The staff is very kind and caring. The only thing I think they could do more of is have some more activities. They could have an exercise from ytube which I did with my mother every day, who was my aunts older sister.The facility is small and easy to get around and the rooms are nice with seperate bathrooms and showers for each resident.The place feels like home."

"My brother spent the last month of his life at Plum Tree House (one of the Groves 6 houses), and for all of our family, it was by far the most positive experience of the last 6 months of his illness. The staff was so kind and went out of their way to make both my brother and I feel welcome and cared for, right from the first day. The environment is very cozy and home-like, and Dave felt comfortable right away ~ which certainly isn't something I can say about other places he's been. I would most definitely recommend the Groves to anyone. Thanks so much, all of you, who were there for Dave on his final Journey. You guys are the best!"

"I liked Groves Assisted Living. I liked that they had different houses, and my uncle had more places to wander when it was locked. I liked the rooms. The place was clean and was very active, but they didn’t have any single rooms at the time. I liked what they had to offer for my uncle. "

"My parents are in Handmaker. It has the three levels of care that we are looking for: assisted living; on-site, full-time assistance with nurses; and psychiatric care, which is important to us. The place is very nice and very new at less than five years old. The staff is extremely professional and very attentive. They have medical people that drop in. It is a great facility with several activities planned throughout the day, like crafts, painting, some sports, and a shuttle service that drives the residents to where they need to go. They have a full kitchen staff, so all of the meals are provided. Each apartment has a little kitchenette if they want to do their own cooking. "

"Emeritus was bright and airy. The staff was absolutely fantastic and nice. The two people who gave me the tour and answered my questions were great. They made follow-up phone calls. The rooms were very nice also and it was sort of in between the two facilities that I visited. They had plenty of activities. Nobody looked bored and everybody looked energetic and engaged that's why I thought it would be better for my mom. I thought she would be comfortable at Emeritus. It was slightly smaller than the other two places and the price was all about the same. "

"My husband moved into Canyon View by Platinum Care Homes. I like everything about it. It is clean. The staff are all very attentive, and they give him the care he needs. They are all nice. They are nice to me, and they are nice to all the residents. I have not tried the food, but my husband likes it. They serve three meals and a couple of snacks. They always have fruit available. They always have protein. If the resident doesn't like something, they will be glad to substitute. The common spaces are very nice. They changed it around a little. I think it's even better since my husband went in. The rooms are adequate. They have a lot of games available. Every day, I think they try to engage the residents. They have newspapers that come every morning, so they encourage them to read the newspapers. My husband reads and watches the celebration."

"I toured Hacienda at the Canyon today and was very impressed with the buildings, the grounds and the programs offered to residents. I also ate at one of their restaurants and in addition to great food our server was thoughtful, professional and efficient. A great experience in total!"
