I have chosen Woodland Palms Memory Care for my husband. Everything that I saw was clean. There were still some residents in the dining area still having lunch, so naturally, there's going to be still food on the table and stuff like that, but overall, it was very clean. They showed me the private rooms and I could even take his old furniture in and everything. I was pleased with that. I interacted mostly with Meredith, who took me on the tour. She was very informative. She answered all the questions that I had about the facility. She was very knowledgeable. I met a staffer, and I have also met with the lady who is in charge of the total facility and she was very informative. She told me about how she could assist me in the process of actually getting him placed possibly before all the paperwork is finished.

When I visited my husband at Woodland Palms Assisted Living & Memory Care, he looked really good. The place looked very clean. They have a beautiful courtyard, and they can go in and out of the courtyard area. They have a large dining area that most of them seem to stay in, and a TV in there if they want to watch TV. The nurses and the front office people were very nice. He seemed to like the food and eating it. It's an older building, but it's clean. It looks like they take pretty good care of it inside. Compared to other places, it's a very good value for the money. They just don't have a pool, and I didn't see a salon or an exercise room, which would have been nice. Also, parking is hard.

Woodland Palms was nice, but it's an old place, and you can see that it's an old place. The staff seemed to be interacting with the residents very well. All I got was a menu to show me what they serve. There's nothing in there that stands out. I went into the shower room, and they had a whole bunch of stuff accumulated on one side. It really didn't appeal to me. I really didn't see any other than the interaction of the attendants with the residents. I didn't notice any amenities. The grounds were very clean and very well kept. They had a maintenance guy there taking care of the place.

Woodland Palms was a very nice place. We weren't allowed to enter any rooms, but we could look through the window, and it looked clean. It also had a nice area outside for people to sit and walk. I met with one of the girls, and she answered all our questions and showed us all around. She was impressive. The building is just older.

This beautiful little community is one that is all about it's residents! The staff and residents are caring and friendly! This facility is guided by love and honesty. It is cost effective and you are not paying for things you don't need. It is a little dated but charming! The courtyard is lovely and the residents can take care of the gardens or enjoy sitting on the artistic benches. This is truly a breath of old Tucson nostalgia!
