My husband is now at Arroyo Gardens. We have been very pleased with it. My family was here at Thanksgiving and everyone visited. They were all very impressed with the attitude of all the workers and the comfortable and beautiful surroundings of the community. The staff members are very nice, very professional, and very caring. I appreciate their attitude very much. My husband has a private room; everyone has a private room. Arroyo Gardens has an exercise program and a theater. They take residents outdoors. For those who are well enough and able to enjoy activities, they have various programs that residents can participate in with music. I was there one day when a gentleman came in and played his guitar and sang for them, which was very nice. They also take people on outings. My husband isn't well enough to participate, but for those who are able, they have transportation. They have church services and those who are interested can attend. One of their people is designated to care for the medications and to make sure that those are administered to various people. They have a very nice dining room. The food is very nice. It is appropriate for each person. Some are able to handle normal meals and others need to have it pureed given the circumstances, so those needs are catered to. It is a very beautiful facility. It seems to be very secure for a memory unit.

Arroyo Gardens was nice. It was confusing though. It was really big. It's easy to get lost. The staff was very pleasant. The rooms were just like the others, size-wise, and they were nice. I saw the menu and it looked really good. The atmosphere was very comfortable. Everybody was nice. I didn't see any activities, but I know they have a movie room and an area where they had puzzles they were putting together. There were lots of different things. They had a piano. It just wouldn't be easy for someone that's going to need memory care to remember which way to turn. They had a beauty shop. It was very pretty.

Arroyo Gardens is a lot newer than the other places that I toured. It's only been there two or three years. It's a very nice place. You can tell it's new and the rooms were extremely nice. There was plenty of room in the one-bedroom to move around. It's just very nice. They had a kitchenette and it's mostly just for snacks or whatever. They had a lot of things going there. They have two little sections of the library. They had a swimming pool and that was nice. We only saw the person who conducted the tour, and she's not the one that usually conducts the tours. She invited us to call and make an appointment with the gentleman who usually conducts the tour and have lunch with him. They served buffet-type food in their cafeteria before the pandemic, and they said that they would probably soon start serving that way again. It would not be good for my sister because she wouldn't be able to go up and choose, but I understand they have a waiter who can serve those who can't get to the buffet. It's very accessible. It's just overall extremely nice, and they offer a lot.

Everything about Arroyo Gardens was very nice. It was beautiful and very clean. The rooms were also very nice and the people were very helpful. Gabriel was great. I think that they did a very good job and that's probably where my parents would have gone if we hadn't found the other facility. The dining area looked beautiful and everybody seemed to be happy, which was a big deal for us because we wanted to make sure that it would be a positive place for them.

My visit to Arroyo Gardens was fine. The apartments were nice. They offer a gym, a small pool, and arts and crafts. The place is clean, neat, and relatively new (about two years old). They offer three meals a day. The staff was very knowledgeable, competent, and friendly, but not too pushy.

I liked Arroyo Gardens. They have a lot of amenities, but my in-laws didn't like it. The room we saw had only one bathroom. They have an indoor and outdoor pool, a dog run area, a service kitchen that the residents are allowed to use if they want to have large family dinners, and they also have private dining rooms. You can start out as independent and you can move up as you need it. It's beautiful, but a little pricey. They have to take their laundry down the hall. The staff was very good for the most part.

Arroyo Gardens was very nice, brand new, quite modern, and very attractive. I saw a 1-bedroom apartment, but it was chopped up with so many walls that I would have preferred a studio. The dining area was light, very airy, and very attractive. The staff member was very nice, very professional, outgoing, and I think they will be easy to deal with. It was a very positive experience. They have a library and a pool, and there seems to be lots of programs going on all the time. When I was there they were very busy.

Arroyo Gardens was very nice, but it was too large and it didn't quite feel as homey. The staff was cordial. They said that if there would be any issues that they couldn't handle, they would send that person to Santa Rita Rehabilitation. I absolutely would not go to that place. The apartments were very nice and brand new. They also had a lot of activities going on, and they had an indoor pool.
