This is a small facility in a nice home. They have 5 residents. They have private and semi private rooms. They are average size. The bathrooms are shared. They are handicapped equipped. They have an average size living/sitting room and kitchen. They have one certified caregiver. The owner lives on site 24/7. She informed me her daughter who is the manger of home is going to nursing school. The owner and caregiver do all the cooking and cleaning. They have a hairdresser and a podiatrist who comes in to do pedicures. They have doctor on call and a nurse. They do not offer transport. If residents want to go out they must obtain own transportation. If transport to appointments she does have a service she uses. They have a small fenced in backyard and patio. They have a pool. So as for now they do not offer bbqs or have much outside activities. All activities are limited to cards, television, or other indoor entertainment. The house and residents are clean. The yard well kept. Residents appear clean and cared for. They have average food and do provide snacks. In my opion, I was not impressed with staff as being very warm and caring. Their lack of transport and available activities, especially the limited outdoors area leaves a very boring and non-stimulated lifestyle for residents. It would not be my choice.
