My husband is in Mosaic Gardens Memory Care at Scottsdale. It seems like a very nice place. He has a very good-sized room, he has good care, and it's close to home, but the good care was the most important to me because we've been through a lot of challenges in that regard. The staff is very caring, very respectful, very kind, and skilled. The food is very good. They offer very healthy food, not junk food, and they accommodate some changes. He is diabetic, and so they accommodate his difference in diet, which is wonderful. The common area is very clean, decorated pretty nicely, and suitable for people with plenty of sitting space and comfortable chairs, a TV, activities, and all that. The activities are wonderful. They have events, they take them out of the building, and for the holidays, they bring people dancing and singing. It's just very thoughtful.

We went here. The director was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of really good information. There weren't too many people there, but it was very clean and nice. The rooms were good sized and clean. They gave us a list of all the things that they do. It was very quiet and they had the facility completely separated into two areas, one area is more active and the other for the less active ones.

My mother is here and she has been there for a few weeks now. It is a nice facility and the people are nice. The rooms are also nice.

It is a fairly new facility. The place is also clean. The design is laid out fairly, set up in zones. It?s modern if you have Alzheimer?s or Dementia or if it?s extreme. Each area has a kitchen that was open, it always has food in the kitchen counter. They have somebody who is in there all the time knowing that the residents tend to get up and wander. The nurse and case managers were very visual, they make sure I?m comfortable leaving my mother here. I can call anytime to see how she is doing. They have open line with communication. The activity coordinator keeps them constantly busy with activities so it helps them sleep well and be less inclined and worried.
