I am a resident of Holiday Spa Mobile Home Park. The rent is reasonable. It's not cheap, but it's not ridiculously low. The people who live here don't move very much. My unit is a two-bedroom single. It's 14ft wide and 52ft long. I remodeled, and everybody does that. I just repainted mine, but some people redo their kitchen and installed a dishwasher. I know I could have put it in a garbage disposal, but it just seemed like a waste. I'm seriously considering redoing my porch this year and putting in a hard board. What's cool is you can do anything you want. My sons repainted my unit sky blue, and it's wonderful; I surprised all my neighbors. They've got a great swimming pool, and a weight room for exercising. There's a special building if you want to wash your car, it's right next to the exercise room. There's this huge room where you can have activities. It's been closed for a while because they just replaced the floors. It's all hardwood floors and they just replaced them. They have a jacuzzi by this pool. People take a lot of walks here. This whole thing is on this side of the mountain. I have been living here for 12 years now. The staff were terrific. In a lot of places, when you go to the office, or you call, and there's no one there, that doesn't happen here. It's been so good living in this park now that I'm at an age where I need to get help. My daughter is moving in here. She's 63 and she's going to share my place, and I'll be here until I go. Each home is privately owned; however, I think the design of the park is nice. Youre given a map, and it's so easy to find things. People come in here to make deliveries with no problems. It has two entrances, which I think is valuable, so you don't have everybody go in one place. Theres plenty of lights, we have streetlights, its well-lit and safe. Since we live on the side of a mountain, we occasionally get wild animals here. I think this place is great.
