One of the reasons we chose Clearwater Ahwatukee is that our daughter lives in Ahwatukee, so that would be a very convenient location. Also, they have two-bedroom-and-two-bath units with small kitchens. Everything met our requirements. One of the things about the dining experience is that they have three levels. One is like a regular dining room, another one is like a snack bar, and the other one is like a bistro. The rooms start at 700 square feet and go up to 1080 square feet. The particular unit we're trying to get into is 1026 square feet. I think the facility is only five years old, so everything is well-maintained. It looks brand new, basically. They have a small gymnasium, a pool, and a library. They have all kinds of social events on their calendar, something every day to do within groups. They also provide transportation to the doctor and shopping trips. It's a pretty comprehensive senior living. The staff members were very thorough. They have a nursing staff 24 hours a day. Of course, they can call 9-1-1 and have a rescue squad there in a matter of a couple of minutes. I know of one incident while we were there where a gentleman's blood pressure got really high, and they called the nurse, and she came right away and checked his blood pressure. It wasn't an acute situation that required anything more than the nurse. We ate at the bistro. I had a nice salad, a tuna fish sandwich, and a soft drink. They also have a bar. They have alcoholic beverages if you want to pay for them. Food was great. It was fantastic.

They gave me a tour and I ate lunch there. The food was OK. I saw the size of the different bedrooms and I saw the people. The rooms are all the same.
