My husband is a resident of the Home of Helping Hands Assisted Living. My experience with them has been very positive. I mean, they care for my husband. They love my husband. My husband loves them. That's the most important thing. He's happy and he loves it there. He's productive, which he's never done for years. So, that's an encouragement for me that the best fit for him, we were able to get that established. Annette and her husband David are phenomenal people. They're very caring and very professional. The house is impeccably clean. There's no odor whatsoever coming from the home, which is very nice. Everybody looked clean, and taking care of my husband's room was spotless. It's oversized, which gives him a little bit more space. They utilize whatever they can do every day. I'm ecstatic for him. When I did interviews, there were a couple of people at the table playing games and stuff like that. I just purchased puzzles for my husband, and word games at his request, which he would never do prior to that. He sees a lot of people playing games with stuff like that and puzzles and stuff, so I'd encourage him to do the same. So I'm grateful that he even asked me for that. They do encourage you to be active during the day. I could not find anything that we could afford here in Yuma.

After my grandfather was abused by his caregiver in his previous home, we had to find another solution. After touring many homes, we felt discouraged by the daunting task. Thankfully, we were so fortunate to find Annete & David thru a Helping Hands Google search. They immediately took in my grandfather & protected him all while caring for his needs in such a kind and loving manner, we were all shocked! The staff is great- he loves it so much that calls us everyday to remind us. Thank you so much!

My mother moved into the Home of Helping Hands Assisted Living last February. So far, it's great. They provide everything that I need. They make sure that she's getting her medicine at the time that she's supposed to have it, they change in her catheter every four hours, and they make sure that she's taking her shower. Her room is big enough. There is a lot of room for her; it's like a room when she was at home. She keeps her room clean. There are caregivers and the two owners who live there, and they take care of the clients there, including my mother. I believe there are four or five other residents with her. She watches TV, and she reads the Bible every day. They do crossword puzzles or go out on the back patio to sit outside. It's very comfortable, calm, and peaceful. There's not a lot of ruckus or noise; it's nice and quiet.
