This place is not worth the time or money. They offer nothing for activities for the residents- to spite the agreement that says they offer daily activities. The food is terrible- repeatedly served hot dogs and potato chips. My loved one had several falls and I was not notified until the morning. There are much better homes than this one. Do your research.

Upon the death of our loved one this facility cashed the rent check for the month following her death. Their excuse was she died 1 day after rent was due. Unable to receive a reimbursement of funds at this time and owner has been rude.

There is no garden! Few pots with wilting flowers and overgrown weeds. Overworked staff from outside the US that are all family. They don't want you to question anything, refer always to the owner.( He's a bully) I had move my Mother after 3 months. Don't waste your time looking at this facility.

The home is nice, very appealing from the street. It is at the end of the street up against vacant land which offers quiet surrounding. The neighborhood is well maintained and quiet. Montebello offers several rooms, mostly single resident rooms with one double occupancy Master bedroom. This Care Home is very close to Mercy Gilbert Hospital, which is very positive aspect. Upon initial visit to check out Montebello, I was told there were various activities for the residents and that meal times were flexible. In fact there was a meal schedule posted (by law) that showed a 2 hour window for each meal time. I chose to put my loved ones at Montebello based on the initial interview, the nice surroundings, the flexibility of meal times, the activities and proximity to the hospital. After several weeks, I noticed that there was no flexibility for meal times. It became apparent that the staff wanted the residents to be on THEIR schedule for meals. Also, there were NO activities for the residents, other than being out in the living area to watch TV. At the time my loved ones were at Montebello, all the other residents were bed bound and on hospice. It also became very apparent that the staff and owner wanted all residents to be on hospice. Please be aware of this. If you do not want your loved one on hospice, Montebello is not the place for you. The staff is limited to only one person, at times, caring for up to 7 residents, with that one care giver cooking and providing the meals for those residents. I had a very stressful, disappointing and frustrating experience with Montebello and its owner. Maybe your experience will be different,
