    I am a current client of this provider

    We have been using Care Advantage for my mother for about a year and a half now. It could be as many as five days a week, but right now I'm just cutting back to one day, which would be the 12-hour shift. Different caregivers come in and sign up for that particular shift. I've found them to be very cooperative. They are accepting of my suggestions. They work hard to fix anything that did not work well. They're very easy to work with. The quality of caregivers can vary. Some are excellent and some are just okay., and the director seems to be very agreeable to what I want to do and get my feedback.

    They need nurses who are going to be on time. They cannot keep a nurse here to help me. They need to have better nurses.

    I am a current client of this provider

    I've been shut in due to my knee and I was getting depressed but with having these girls coming to help me, they have really brought me out. At first, I was upset with the first girl, i think she was just too young and didn't have the training necessary. I've had about 5 caregivers after her and they have been excellent.

    She really didn't need much help and she didn't care for the service. We didn't have the same person each time. The services were okay. I wouldn't say one way or another.

    They could make my life easier by sending us the caregivers they promised. I'd like for Care Advantage to improve by sending caregivers more often when they should be.

    It is all a matter of trust between the office and the staff and me. I have had quite a few caregivers come, even though I told the office that I don't want new people.

    All the aides didn't know how to give a sponge-bath properly. It's been pretty easy communicating with Care Advantage and I haven't had any issues.

    It is a big burden to take off my shoulders. We have trouble with the agency because their caregivers are not available on the days we need them. They cancel, and the agency doesn't call to let us know.

    I would have liked it if they did what I asked them to do. Nelly was great, the other ones would show up and just sit, they wouldn't understand.

    The caregiver doesn't call out, we had a lot of problems with that before. Hayley is excellent. On the days that Hayley is there Mary is in much better spirits. Hayley is absolutely wonderful and goes above and beyond to take care of my mother-in-law.

    Their ability to do things that I am not bale to do has been very helpful. Like lifting and other physical things that he needs. We had a very bad start to the services. When someone has to leave they need to have coverage in place so I do not have to fill in and cover for them.

    They need more quality caregivers. There isn't much they can improve on until we are over Covid. They are very tight on caregivers. They cannot provide the level of care they did for my mom until after Covid. They would fix him breakfast.

    They need to let us know what is going on. I never know what is going on. They need to keep us with an aide. We had a new aide that missed 2 days in 3 weeks.

    I'm able to go out and not worry about my husband. The caregiver spends a lot of one-on-one time with my husband. The caregiver is very kind and polite with my husband, and she comes on time.

    If I have to go some place, it is just the comfort of her walking outside with me especially if I have the cane. She stays close enough so that if I need to grab her shoulder, I can. I like the fact that my aide and I get along really well.

    They always find me someone if I don't like a caregiver, and they'll find me someone else, even if it's for only one day. They're very friendly, they take care of you, and I have never had a problem. They're good about if you don't like someone, they'll change them out.

    I am a current client of this provider

    It's the reason I'm getting along because without them, I wouldn't have anyone right now. I appreciated so much that I went to them and asked for my caregiver, and they hired her because she was working with me before she was working with Care Advantage. The only way we could have her was if she worked with a care agency, and they helped make that happen. I would like them to increase the salaries of the caregivers because I had them here a year ago, and I thought the bill I got at the end of the visit was high. I thought the caregivers had higher salaries than they do have.

    My house has never been cleaner than when my caregiver has been here. She even cleaned the cat poop for me. I like the personality of the individual that takes care of me.

    There was one incident where a caregiver called in on a weekend, and they weren't replaced. The person we have taking care of my grandfather is working out well, and my grandfather likes him.

    When I ask for a caregiver, they need to show up. They didn't send a caregiver last Sunday. I am not sure if I will get one tomorrow either. I need one every week.

    They haven't given me any caregivers for a couple of months, and they haven't been answering their phones or trying to get me someone. Sometimes, they don't show up when I have them. They need to answer their phones when I am calling.

    It is hard, but now I am able to get out of the house. I am able to go shopping, go to lunch, and go to church. It is fantastic for me. The caregiver is great! There is nothing that she can't do, and she has no problem doing anything.

    The aide that came worked with my mom and had a lot of trust in her. I plan on using them if she comes home. If the aide can't show up, they have backups.

    They could answer the phone when I call, like in the afternoon they don't answer hardly at all. They need to get their act together in the office. It's poorly managed, and there is only one woman who is on her game all the time, but she is from the Harrisonburg office and everyone seems to be lacking in their abilities to be efficient.

    They come in my home and take care of things and me. I didn't like some of the people they sent me in the beginning, but I love the person I have now.

    I believe that my caregiver needs to be talked to and told to not just sit for two hours before she decides to do something. If I am sleeping in, she sits in the chair or is on the phone. One of my issues is that I have to tell her what has to be done every day. I'd like my worker to come and do her job. She brings her personal life into her job almost every day.

    I need a caregiver that can do other work, such as wash my windows, and I would like to receive those services through Care Advantage. The company keeps me informed about what is going on and things like that. They will also call and check in on me to make sure everything is going alright.

    It has made my life much easier, I can't clean my house. The caregiver that comes to my house is excellent and is always willing to adjust her hours for me. I had some people that were awful in the beginning but now I have a great caregiver.

    I looked forward to them. They knew what needed to be done and they went right to work. They went to the grocery store and cleaned. I didn't have to tell them what to do. They were wonderful. They were good help and went about the work like it was their own home. I was sick and had a hip replacement, so I couldn't do anything. I needed the help and I needed them.

    They let me get some sleep when they came in to take care of my husband during the night. I really like the person who runs Care Advantage, but their was one caregiver that ruined the experience for me.

    I've had a lot of different people, so that makes it difficult. I wish they could find one or two people to be with me all the time. When I click with someone and get to know them, it helps because they start to know my health. The only thing I can really say I dislike is sometimes they do not send someone out on the day I am expecting someone. They can't get someone in place so I am left alone on that day. Other than that they are a good company. But I have been alone before and I didn't have any money. They only give me 6 six hours, and I need more hours than that.

    They need to make sure my loved one takes her medication and they need to be more patient with her. The caregivers should be able to complete the list they are given and make sure my loved one takes their medication.

    I am able to count on her being here, and she doesn't try to get out early. The caregiver has done a great job at helping me out because I have problems with some of my activities of daily living.

    I guess I'd say compared to not having any help, it was at least something, but I usually had to direct them to tell them how to do things. As long as they were coming to see me, they were fine, but I wouldn't really recommend them. They would come and sit down and then I'd have to tell them what to do.

    There are certain things that I find difficult to do myself, and they make it possible for me to live with relatively little assistance. When somebody doesn't show up, I am unable to get in contact with the office to get a replacement.

    I couldn't do without them. They make sure that I'm up and dressed in the morning, that I get my morning medicine and coffee, and that they feed the animals. Not only do I have a whole bunch of physical problems, but I also ended up being re-hospitalized. I'm down to just my left hand, and I'm right hand dominant. They're doing everything that my right hand can't do. They make sure that I'm stable and safe. They help me after seizures, and they drive me to doctor's appointments. They keep me straight with the date because my memory only works at about 50%. They are flexible, and I like the quality of the aides. There is an ease in talking to the office.

    They have taken a lot of stress and burden off of me. They are friendly, but some of the help can't do everything. For example, the one that was sent to my father's home was very pregnant and was limited with what she could do.

    They were very stressful for me. I would have liked for them to let me know who was coming and to receive my phone calls so I could know if anyone was coming at all. I was never aware of why no one was coming for me.

    I would recommend them because they have been really good to me. I have really been blessed with my caregivers, they have been really good. Everyone of my caregivers knew what they were doing and were very kind. I cannot say anything other than this. They really worked hard.

    I was more willing to put more effort into working than my caregiver was. Today I wanted to get some exercise and she was helping me but I was more interested than she was to get things done.
