She was in a vegetative state, but it was helpful for me to have someone to help her. The nighttime people were excellent, I was able to sleep. I already have recommended them. I liked Ron and Don.

They make me have to stay awake in order to monitor what they are doing. They could be more active with their caregiver education. The night shift doesn't give any care.

There are several things that could've gone better. There were mistakes made and a lack of a caregiver one day. They had a caregiver who was on the phone all the time and was preaching to other people in another country. One of the caregivers left early and there was no coverage, which caused Carol to fall out of the bed and that killed her. I loved the owner, he was great. They were all wonderful people.

They should have kept the same caregiver with her and they should have been able to socialize with her or engaged her. I think that they should let us talk directly with the aides.

Hello Faye and Family. Hope you are all doing well. As we discussed before we began working with Faye, having only one care provider is not a reasonable solution for a few reasons. First, life happens and a primary care provider on a case may have to take care of their own business or a family member so it is always good to have others who are familiar with a case. Also, the hours we kept with you were not enough for a single care provider to make a real living wage and we had to allow our staff to take other longer shifts mixed in with their Faye time. Our care providers are as important to us as our clients. As for communication with care providers, we maintain our communication with our employees to ensure we, in the office who are managing our care providers, are holding our people accountable - this allows for better quality control. Further, this practice eliminates any confusion as to who is employing our staff, we have legal parameters within which we operate and as the liable party I am sure you understand why it is important we manage our own staff. Hopefully, Faye is doing well and is still getting to her exercise classes. This has been a very difficult time for all involved in delivering care. Please stay safe and healthy. All our best!

He was afraid to be alone, and afraid for me to leave, and they were there and encouraging to him. I think that they provide fabulous people. My husband was in the hospital for a week, and they sent someone out there to be with him which was great.

I was told I would receive information about what the caregivers were doing but I never received any tracking. She was a high fall risk and was supposed to have 24 hour care. One of the caregivers left for lunch for about three to four hours. The patient fell while they were supposed to be watching her.

We are/were very sorry about how our relationship ended. We worked with you for about two and a half days and gave access to see care notes. The Care Provider who misconstrued instruction and left for an hour was relieved of her duties due to unacceptable lack of judgement. We take this very seriously. As to the fall, we were with your sister, directly behind her at the vanity with a gait belt on but the way her knees buckled combined with her size, there was little we or anyone could have done to keep her from falling. Again, we are very sorry about how this relationship ended, we strive for continued improvement and always will. We also admit when we are wrong and take actions to keep from making the same mistake twice. Best to you.

They help the most with just filling in with the care that she is already getting. They can improve on their communication and create standardizing care plans for clients. They got the care in place very fast, but they did not tell us exactly what they were going to be doing or about how we were going to be having multiple caregivers. They need to have a small survey for us to let them know of exactly what we need.

It helps when she is here. She is here three hours a week. She runs errands and picks things up, and does things that I cannot do. I am on a walker, and she helps me not fall over. I have them for a short period of time, and they do a good job. They supply someone, and that is all that is necessary, but they should follow through with what they say.

Dear Anonymous_2013 We try very hard to keep consistency of care providers for our clients. Sometimes, life happens and it is not always possible to be 100% always the same people. We always encourage communication with our staff and would love to talk directly about this issue when it frustrates you. Please call us. We are priced extremely competitively in the Columbus market, nowhere near the most expensive. We monitor rates and keep ours reasonable and simple. We do not have a sliding scale, short shifts are not more expensive per hour nor is personal care more expensive. We like to be very straightforward. I am confident the care you receive is first rate, if you have any issues you want to discuss please contact us.
